I began high school weighing 175lbs. I am currently starting my junior and have reached a whopping 250 pounds! I gained the weight because I eat a lot of food during lunch. Also since my mom has begun working, she has left me money to buy some food when I get home and I usually buy 2 burgers with large fries and a soda or I would buy a pizza and finish all of it with breadsticks. With the money left over I would also drive to the nearest store and buy lodes of chips, cakes or other unhealthy snacks and eat them while doing my homework or watching TV. I don’t know what to do anymore, my doctor told me that I am in the obese class type 2 which made me cry my eyes out. I need help otherwise I will gain even more weight. I already have a hard time walking and spend most of my time lying in bed watching TV because of it so I don’t think this will be easy but I have to try. Please post some comments and help me get on the right path.

As long as you're ready to say "TODAY is going to change" and try as hard as you can to make changes (slowly) but CONSISTENTLY, it's possible. And no lies, it will be hard at first. Heck, it's gonna down right SUCK at first. But that's inevitable. as the pounds drop off and you get used to a new, healthier lifestyle, it'll get easier. One thing to remember is that, if you go a while with no chips, sooner or later you'll stop craving them so much. Same with any food. Try limiting these foods. Don't cut them out completely from your diet, but slowly and eat everything in MODERATION. that's the key. All the best to you and keep us updated! I wish you the BEST of luck!!
