Ht. 5'2", Start: 366 lb, Today: 366 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 150 lb - Hello, I've always been quite large so finally my parents decided to do something about it.
They sent me too fat camp. Even there I was bigger than the other campers and had trouble participating. By the end I only lost 2 pounds. At home I'm trying to eat better and do more exercise buts its pretty hard when your the size of a baby elephants.
I've been struggling a lot with my extra weight and these are some of the issues I've been dealing with.
#1. Walking around is a bit of a challenge. At my school there are two sets of stairs so witch I've had a lot of trouble walking up. I went and talked to the guidance counselor so I received permission to use the elevators. But even walking short distances I need to take many brakes and I'm dripping with sweat. I've been excused from gym and I try to do light stretches with the guidance counselor.
#2. No stores come in my size. I have to shop on line at XXL mens wear. That it self is pretty embarrassing but whats worse is I way over 100 pounds than my dad!!! Its hard to look good when you're a plus size but I can barely find girls clothes that fit me appropriately.
#3. There was a hole debacle when we went to the Dominican for March break. First I didn't fit in the seat!!!!!! Last year I squished in but barely. Now I need a full two seats. They had to rearrange a lot of people to get too seats next to each other. I was so embarrassed. Next when we got to the resort I laid on my bed and I broke the spring. They had to get it fixed and I had to lie on the floor in a sleeping bag. As you probably guessed I can't wear a bathing suit so I had to sit around all day watching other people enjoy the sun. Finally we had to get special reservations at the buffet because I needed a special seat I can fit into.
Well I've been having a lot more issues with my extra weight. I might post about my other issues latter. For now I'm on a diet and I'm trying to do moderate activity.
