Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Thanks a lot. |
Message Replying To From Lucy, Age 15 Ht. 5'3", Start: 148.5 lb, Today: 145.5 lb, Goal: 120 lb - SO I haven't gained any weight. But I haven't lost any either. I've just been so so so busy with school and AP exams and testing that I haven't made any time for excersize. I also got a job- which I love!- so that's contributed to it to. However, school ends Friday, and I know I was suppoed to lose weight in time for summer, but that didn't happen and I can't dwell in the past, only look to the future, so i've decided to lose the weight this summer in time for school. I've already made my goals and I'm going to take my mesurements tomorrow. I'm going to DO this. I want to look good. I hat the way I look, and I hate that feeling of not being able to be happy with my body. Today, this guy pretty much called me fat. He was talking about how he was going to throw people in the pool if they didn't get in, but then he looked at me and was like, "I'm sure Lucy could hold her own" or something stupid like that. My friend said I was being too sensitive about it and he didn't mean it like that, but she's skinny and she doesn't understand what it's like to be made fun of like I do. Now, it's not bad at all, because in theory i'm really not fat, i'm just a little thick (big thighs, butt, arms) and I know that, but in middle school when I was going through that akward stage kids were really mean to me, calling me fat and ugly outright. It was bad. I'm glad that people don't make fun of me now, but I just want people to look at me and say "she looks good!" instead of "she could lose a few lbs" SO this summer I hope to make my goal of 120lbs. I know I can do this. |
