~REPLY WRITING AREA~ |
Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Thanks a lot. |
Message Replying To From Anne, Age 19 Ht. 5'6", Wt. erg 195 - teresa- i replied to your message but incase you don't go back and check here is a clearer explanation of what i was talking about: okay- first go to the website to see how many calroeis your body burns per day withour exersize. then, ask yourself how many pound would be healthy for you to lose a week? for every pound a week that you want to lose, subtract 500 calories a day(and/or work off 500 calories at the gym. that is how many calories you should be eating to lose weight. example: i want to lose 3 lbs a week (which is good for my weight- but probably n ot healthjy for someone smaller). i burn 2600 calories a day, then i work out around 400calories off at the gym, after that i eat 1500 calories per day to get a 3 pound loss. 2600burned+400burned at gym=3000-1500calories that i ate=1500calories burned more than consumed per day. |
