Message Replying To From Sabrina, Age 16 Ht. 5'5, Wt. 135 - Hey guys...well i'm here because i want to tell yall how i lost 80 pounds.First off i changed my eating habits because you have to be realistic...are you going to eat tofu and plain baked potaoes all your life? probably not so let me tell you my secret!I ate pretty much everything i ate before i decided to change my life, except sweets but i didnt cut them out completley. If i wanted a candy bar i had one but that was few and far between, i learned to never deprive myself because it only made me want it more. so if i wanted a hamburger i had me a hamburger but only 1. it's all about moderation you can have just about anything in moderation. i cut back and dranks tons of water and diet tea. At first i excersised everyday for at least 30 minutes a day(everyone has 30 mins) billy blanks, richard simmons, walking,and of course DDR thats awesome because you can actually have a little fun and forget your excersisng! Once a week i would weigh but no more than that(remember you didnt gain it over night so you wont lose it overnight)then i would eat ONE thing that i truley wanted whether it was a candy bar or a couple of tacos,but remember dont go overbored and dont fall off your diet! Anyways i lost the weight by doind what i just told you and i wasnt in agony and miserable because i didnt feel deprived. Whatever you do dont do the grainbars and apples and tofu "diet"unless you really like it becaue you have to be realistic and ask yourself...am i going to eat this way for the rest of my life? we like REAL FOOD!! anyways i have kept it off for a year now...i still exercise but only 3 times a week...and i have found that my stomach can only handle that one hamburger , not 2 ham and fries like it use to..i still weight once a week and if i gain 3 pounds then i immediatley up my excercise and cut back and then the next week i'm fine again and this is how i have maitained. hang in there the wieght will come off and with every pound you will have more and mope confidence and that will give you the desire to follow threw. One more thing i did was i would get one outfit(that didnt fit me) and hang it in my closet and when i was a size 20(yes i said 20 ladies) i would get a size 18 and every month i would try it on till it would fit me then a size 16...until eventually it was a size 7! just remember you can do this and you truley dont have to be miserable doing it...i'm living proof. i hope my story helped some of yall and if you have any questions just ask!
