~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'4, Wt. Too much - One thing I have noticed on here a lot is that people reccomend low sugar and fat foods, which is not bad in itself, but there is more to weight loss than fat and calories. Watch out for high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated ingredients and trans fats. I know I am not a fitness guru or anything, but I do a lot of research and my dad works with nutritionists, and when those factors were included in foods not so long ago obesity picked up rapidly. You can still eat sugar and everything, just avoid artificial sweetners. They have been shown that when used a lot they can cause cancer. My great grandmother ate well balanced meals and never at fat-free or artifitially sweetened foods and she lived to a ripe old age of 101. Try organic foods of your favorites. They taste almost the same and you wont get all those crappy hydrogenated oils and corn syrup. Ya'll can do it!
