Message Replying To From Lauren, Age 17 Ht. 5'5?, Wt. 145 - I've been sort of off the wagon lately, and because of that, it seems like my weight loss is a little slow. I haven't really given in to junk food though, but since it is summertime it seems like we are always stopping at some restaurant to eat. I don't think I've gained any back though, so that is a plus. On the 4th, I pigged out at Ryan's. I limited myself to one plate, and my meat was grilled chicken; for dessert I took a small piece of strawberry cake though. When we went to Wendys the other day, I had a small chili, a chicken nugget, and then I had a small Frosty. I had had toast for breakfast, and then for dinner I ate a sandwich. I don't think I went over 1200 that day. We went to Eat n' Park yesterday, and I had a grilled chicken fiesta sandwich. It was one of the "Eat Smart" choices on the menu. Later on I had a sandwich for dinner, and I had had toast for breakfast. Anyways, my point is, is that although I've sort of eaten a bit more than usual lately, I try to balance it out throughout the day. Plus, I visit the websites of these places and look at their nutritional information if I can. For exercise, I've still been walking 2 miles, and on some nights, when I can't get anyone to go with me, I'll go out and do yard work or else I'll clean the house or something like that. I only have 5 more pounds to go, and so I'm pretty sure I can reach my goals by August. :D I was hoping to hit 140 by my birthday, but I don't think that is going to happen, but I'm still happy with how far I've come. :) I've been able to fit in Size 13 pants, and some of those have even seemed a bit loose! Oh, and I'm going to camp tomorrow-Friday, and so I won't be able to really watch my calories. We are going to be keeping active though as well, with horseback riding, swimming, sports, and walks, so I'm hoping to get in some exercise. :D Best of luck to the rest of ya. ;) |
