~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'5, Wt. 142 - Hey guys, I figured I'd add in a quick update: My diet and exercise plan are going so/so. My doctor put me on birth control for my hormonal problem, and I'm worried that that might make me gain weight. I always have heard that it does, but I don't know if it is a myth or not. Anyways, I haven't been getting in a lot of walking, and my food intake hasn't been very healthy lately either. Because of that, I haven't lost anymore, and I think I've maybe gained a pound or two as well. :/ I'm going to jump back on the wagon before I slip too far. Which means, no more sweets. I figured since some were low calorie (I discovered a 180 calorie candybar and a 170 calorie mini angel food cake, which is pretty good considering how much some of those things have in them...) that it wouldn't hurt me, but it just makes me want more. I do have an treadmill now, as well as a stepper. I walked 1.5 miles on the treadmill yesterday, and I'm aiming for 2 today, since I had a late start yesterday. Anyways, as long as I get down to 140, I'll be pretty satisfied, but I'd like to maybe get down to 130-135. As for the rest of you who are struggling, don't give up! It is sometimes a difficult road to weight loss, but if I can do it, all of you can as well. I've went from 182 to 142 or so, and I feel so much better about myself. I can fit in 11-13 in juniors, and last time I checked, I could fit in a 14 in misses, but I'd say I'm down to a 12 by now. That's about all the updates for now. Hopefully by this time next week, I'll be back on track. :)
