Ht. 5'3", Wt. 200 - Ok well I see a lot of posts with some odd replys so I think I will put this up to try and help everyone. For one you NEED bread, dairy, fruits, veggies, protine, Iron, patassium, Vitamine A and C And D, sugar, salt, ect ect ect!! You need some of all the nutrients that food has to offer. Thats why diets like Adkins, Cabage diet, all fruits, no bread, special K, they don't work!! Of course you will drop weight fast but are you seriously going to eat no bread or only fruit for the rest of your life?? If you do eat no bread or only veggies are you going to feel how you should feel?? Be able to preform at your best?? The answer is NO. Were all looking to get healthy but giving eachother advice like NO bread or try my all fruit diet, or somone wanna so the special K diet with me, or telling someone there snack is to heavy isn't helping them. NO, I'm not a docter I'm a 14 year old girl that has had up and down weight issues for the last 4 years. I do know what does work when trying to lose weight. 1. Self controll. (don't give up on yourself!! just keep trying untill you learn self controll with food) 2. !!!!Cardio!!!! (it burns fat, once you get the fat off you can do strenght and tone up) 3. Toning makes you stronger but don't get down on yourself if you gain weight while tonning. It gains muscle, muscle weights more than fat!! 4. Chew sugar free gum. 5. Learn to love yourself. You know I could go on forever. I know at least 1000 things about dieting, and i know there are a million more things I could know. If you want my advice I will be happy to give it. I would just reply on here but I happen to know that when I give my opinion and people don't want it they get mad at me becuase I"m a very honest person. I would also like to say sorry for rambling a lot in this and sorry to anyone that I ofended but saying your diet isn't any good.
