~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'8", Wt. 170 - Hey everyone. Im on a downer right now. Its not that im not losing weight, because i am. In fact in 2 and a half months ive lost 12lbs. The problem is that no one has noticed! I can notice a difference in myself, my lovehandles are smaller, my face is a bit thinner and my legs r more toned, my clothes r baggy and i have had to buy new school trousers which are a size smaller because my other ones had gotten far too big for me! my mum knows i am trying to lose weight and ive told her how much ive lost and still she has never once complimented me on my weight loss or said you look thinner or anything but i wouldnt mind that if it weren't for the fact that the other night my aunt was staying with us and she kept saying how much thinner my big sister looked (she weighs the same as me but im 2 inches taller)since the last time she saw her (which was july) and my mum was agreeing with her saying that yeah she did look very slim and it just really upset me becos im tryin so hard to lose the weight and they compliment my sister although she hasnt even lost any weight! do u think im being selfish for wishing they were complimenting me instead of my sister? is anyone else in this sort of situation who can offer advice on how to deal with it? plz help x
