Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Thanks a lot. |
Message Replying To From Alyssia, Age 17 Ht. 5'7", Start: 240 lb, Today: 184 lb, Goal: 140 lb - I am having such a hard time losing weight now. It really sucks. I've still got 44 pounds to lose, and now I'm at the point where it's extremely hard. I think I'm going to talk to my mom about joining the YMCA. I need harder workouts. I was walking a few miles everyday and on occasion riding bikes. But it's not enough for me. My body is so used to walking. I'm still eating healthy. Today I'll be walking around for a few hours though. My boyfriend and I are going to the mall for a few hours to hang out, so we'll be walking most of the time. I was going to jump rope everyday for a half hour, but I did that on Tuesday, and my calves were so incredibly sore that I wouldn't be able to do it the next day. They aren't too sore right now. I guess I'll stick with jump roping. My calves will eventually adjust to it, and I should be able to jump rope for 30 minutes and not get sore. What about running? I know it would speed up my weight loss. I don't like running much. I guess this is the point where I tell myself that I don't like being fat either, so I need to run. If I was to jog/speed walk every morning for 30 minutes do you guys think it would speed up my weight loss? Now, I just need the motivation to get up early enough to run. |
