Message Replying To From Alyssia, Age 17 Ht. 5'7", Start: 240 lb, Today: 180 lb, Goal: 140 lb - My weight loss has slowed down now. I typically lose weight every 3 weeks. I would like to increase this back to at least every other week. In order to do this I wanted to join gym with my mom. But there's a problem. She is afraid to join. I know she would if she wasn't. Since she is trying to lose weight as well. I keep telling her stories of women who were 300 pounds or more going to them. But they don't seem to have an effect on her. She's 5"8' and 220 pounds. So, it's not that bad. She says that she doesn't like working out in front of people. I want us to join the YMCA. Does any one go here to work out? If so, what are the people who workout there typically like? Or how do you guys think I can talk my mom into joining the gym? |
