BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From me, Age 17

Ht. 5'5", Start: 210 lb, Today: 180 lb, Goal: 140 lb - This post may seem to all of you as being mean or rude but I am just going to tell the truth and be nice about it. How come some people post what they eat the whole day and then ask how good they are doing? I mean, if it is healthy and you ate the amount of calories your body needs in a day and exercised, then obviously you did good and you don't need another person's opinion on how you did because someone might say "try to cut this out ...blah blah blah" because they are trying to give you advice...and that could be a put down and make it sound like you didn't do good on your diet because someone said so. Also, I was reading some posts earlier and one girl said she was 128 lbs and overweight... my sister was anorexic weighing that and she was BONE skinny! Seriously, get real. If you are 128 lbs and claim to be overweight, that is just a put down for teens who are actually overweight. We are all here for the same reason [to lose weight,be healthy, live a healthy lifestyle] so stop complaining about how you wish you were "this" size like your friend and how your friend can eat so much and not gain weight ... everyone has different metabolisms and some people can lose weight and some people can gain weight. Who cares about what other people's weights are and worry about your own. I have noticed that many people say how their friend is losing weight but she doesn't eat and how you are trying the healthy way to lose weight but nothing is happening ... WHO CARES what your friend is doing, you know she is the one who is losing weight the unhealthy way and you are doing WAY better than her because you are losing weight the "right" way. Weight loss takes time. Eat junkfood occasionly or avoid it completly, try to avoid take out food, drink a lot of water, exercise daily, try not to eat anything in the night... and you WILL lose weight in time.(I lost 30 lbs and so can all of you) good luck everyone~!
