Ht. 5'2", Start: 130 lb, Today: 128 lb, Goal: 105 lb - i just got this amazing book called the abs diet. you've probaly heard of it, but it is amazing. it breaks everything down. it tells you what to look for on nutrition labels and how losing weight works. i read most of it last night, but it is seriously amazing. it said that low cal, low fat, low carb anything low doesn't work, it may work at first, but not after a while. it said that the problem with low - cal diets is that your body will start eating muscle cells which burn a lot of calories because it is starving itself. and 1 pound of muscle burns 50 more calories a day so muscle toning will make you lose more weight than cardio especially because your body will sometimes keep burning calories for up to 48 hours after a muscle toning exercise, and not that much longer after a cardio workout. cardio exercise will eat up your muscle, so when you do cardio, make sure you do some muscle toning to. it gives a list of 12 "power" food that are really healthy. it focus' on protien because your body will burn more calories naturlly when it is fed protien verses carbs and fat. it says not to look at calories either and eat 3 snacks, but they have to be healthy. it has a list of good foods. it is truelly amazing, and it only takes 6 weeks, which is perfect because school starts for me in 6 weeks. it is awesome. it would seriously reccomend getting it!!!!!
