Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Thanks a lot. |
Message Replying To From Shekina, Age 19 Ht. 5'3", Start: 218 lb, Today: 205 lb, Goal: 150 lb - I am ready to get back to a healthy lifestyle again, and lose weight. I just went through a really awful breakup, and I am ready to focus on me and my health. I started college, and I've been so busy between that (and work, and before we broke up, the boyfriend), that I have learned to eat to give me energy instead of just eating for the heck of it. So that's really good. I work at a place that has fried food, and ice cream and crap like that, and it's free. They have some healthier stuff... but it's still a challenge to stay away from it, especially since I want that kind of comfort food 3 days after breaking up. But at least my mind is on the right track, and I've done pretty good over the past week. I'm thinking about exercising about 20 minutes a day to start out, and then build up from there... but I have to make time for it... does it sound good? And what's some motivation to stay away from the bad food? :P |
