Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Thanks a lot. |
Message Replying To From Motivated, Age 18 Ht. 5'6", Start: 215 lb, Today: 208 lb, Goal: 150 lb - hey guys- i've lost like 7 lbs in the past almost two weeks by eating mostly raw- lots of fruits veggies, raw nuts, raw seeds- actually- quite a bit of good fats from nuts and avocados etc. anyways, i find that without unrefined carbs in my system- i don't crave them. meaning- without eating that piece of white bread- i don't crave white bread. i usually eat a cooked meal at night with meat or fish in it (sorry- i just can't be a vegetarian i love meat too much) and i've found a great and healthy recipe for raw organic chocolate! it tastes just like the processed dark chocolate! it is: raw cacao powder, raw agave nectar, and raw coconut oil liquified. i love it- and i'm really finding that just about any recipe i miss during the day that is usually cooked- there's probably a comparable raw recipe to replace it! its pretty awesome. i feel great too- i actually feel like i'm slimming rather than just losing weight- my pants are looser which usually doesn't happen when i lose weight by other means in the first two weeks of a new diet! so- even if you do not want to "go raw", you should incorporate more raw foods into your diet. and instead of eating just a little bit of something bad for you like a slice of cake- just don't- and later on you will no longer crave it. your body doesn't really crave what you don't put in it as long as you are feeding it enough nutrients... and also- don't worry about the speed of my weight loss- it's just a dramatic diet change- it will slow down after the first month or so. |
