If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Message Replying To From Rachael, Age 16 Ht. 5'7", Start: 221 lb, Today: 213 lb, Goal: 180 lb - I have been wanting to lose weight for a while, but I keep putting it off. Now I'm to the point where it's making me angry. I want it off more than anything and I know I can do it. My biggest problem is portioning. It's not that I eat too many times a day, it's how much of it I take and what I take. I'm eating too much of the wrong kinds of food. I try to eat breakfast, but usually don't have time in the mornings (don't want to miss the bus), I usually mooch off of others at lunch, then i come home from school at three and eat a big meal, then later on have dinner. I exercise for about 90-120 minutes a day and drink two bottles of water during it. I can feel myself gaining muscle, but the fat doesn't seem to go away. The biggest reason I want to lose the weight is so I can excel in sports. This summer I am planning on trying out for the school's tennis team, and hopefully next spring I will try out for the softball team. Wish me luck! |
