BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'11", Start: 220 lb, Today: 192 lb, Goal: 170 lb - Eyyyy, evey-bodet!!!Whanna know something I dont understand? I wieghrd myself today on a computorzed scale;it read 192. I thought "well, i'v gained back 10 punds(must have been all the candy apples and such from Pike Fair-by the way, anybody live in alleghany or catteraugous couny, N.Y?-, but its mearly ten pounds. I'll work it off in 2 weeks(I'm happy that my fat is rather evenly distributed about my body,if it all went to my belly I'd be quite irked. Anywho, your on-site calculator states that I'm in the 97th(!!!) percentile. From what I know, bmi can be judged as a percentage ou of 100. Sice the calculator states that I am heavier than 97 out of 100 people, I wondered "Man, where are these people from?!!"Nearly everyone in my grade-10th- is very overwieght, and those who are'nt (mainly the 4-5 sporty girls) have gained a pretty big amount of fat in 4 months. I think that bmi should be judged by, say, your region or state, rather than a probobly outdated 100 person ratio.Anybody agree? Oh, and, seriously, does anybody live in Western N.Y? If so, please speak up!!!
