Ht. 5'7", Start: 215 lb, Today: 209 lb, Goal: 150 lb - Hey- I really want/kind of need to lose weight by January and May. First off, I'm going to see my brother and his family in Jan. along with a couple of my friends that moved down there in Florida in Jan and I want to look fantastic so I have a good time. I would like to lose 15-30lbs by then- hopefully falling into the 20lb range at least- i know it's a lot- but i'm really motivated and have been going to the gym a lot- i just need to get my calories down to 1500 and i'll be good. also, i've just started a multivitamin, so i'm hoping that will get my body the energy i really need right now. It's really hard for me to lose weight because i am hypothyroid, but hopefully if i work my hardest, i can do this. By May, I would love to be 160lbs or less. think I can do it by working out 3-4 days a week for an hour doing 45 minutes of cardio on the elliptical and 15 minutes of weight lifting, with a little extra time stretching afterwards? Another thing is- I ordered this powder that's made from acai berries to add to my morning smoothie- it's supposed to be absolutely amazing to clean out your body- has anyone tried and acai supplement? thanks so much!
