If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Message Replying To From Melissa, Age 15 Ht. 5'4", Start: 177 lb, Today: 182 lb, Goal: 130 lb - I have 52 pounds to lose...52...It's such a heavy thought. I haven't lose any weight. I haven't gained any weight. I can't work up the motivation to exercise. And it's so hard here, where I live because it's already FREEZING cold outside; and I hate working out indoors. I DON'T want to get a gym membership because I hate exercising around other people. I just don't know what to do...I WANT to lose weight but I just can't work up the motivation to exercise. In in recent months I've become quite comfortable with my body. Sure, I'm still a bit self-concious and I know I need to lose weight for my health but I've become quite accepting of myself. I've accepted my love handles and stretch marks...It doesn't mean I love being this way, I've just moved on past the ugly part of it and started to see myself as...pretty. I want to lose weight so I can be healthy and so when I'm older I can teach my children healthy eating/exercising habits...I need tips on how to cut back from those carbs and desserts that I love so much, and I need tips to help me get motivated to exercise :) |
