If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Message Replying To From Katrina, Age 15 Ht. 5'7", Start: 186 lb, Today: 177 lb, Goal: 135 lb - About a week ago i was 186 lbs, and today I am 177! I could not be happier. I have just about lost one pound per day! I honestly did not change all that much. I simply tried paying attention to when I was actually hungry, and when i was just eating out of boredom. I also try to eat things to raise my metabolism like grapefruit, drink cranberry juice, etc. I try to eat 5-6 small meals or snacks through out the day, and I walk my dogs for about an hour a day, or if i cant, I run on my elliptical for about 30 minutes or so. I just try to get at least 20 minutes of physical activity per day. I am so excited to reach my goals. I have a goal set for 150 by mid april and I am already 1/3 of the way there pretty much! I am so optimistic about my weight loss and I really wish i had done it sooner! I wish the best of luck to all of you like me struggling with being overweight. I hope we can all achieve this together! |
