I've been here for a while and I thought things were going great. I hadn't mentioned to any of you that I have been anorexic in the past. This time I really wanted to lose weight the right way. (with anorexia you lose the weight, but when you start eating again, you gain it all back). Anyway, yeah, I was cutting down on my calories, but I didn't think I was eating to little. I ate a small bowl of fruit for breakfast, a container of yogurt and an apple for lunch, and a salad for dinner. Also, I had fruit as a snack between meals. This morning I counted up the calories I have been taking in and it was only about 500! I was really worried because I don't want to become anorexic again, because now I know that it is very bad for you in the long run. I really want to lose weight though! I want to lose about 20 pounds over the summer. But I want to do it right. Can someone help me with a smart amount of food? Is eating sensibly and following the food guide pyramid a good idea? or is that too much food? I'm really confused and sad right now, because I thought I was doing so good! I don't want to become anorexic again. Please help.(emmy and laurie, this is the reason I haven't mailed you guys about how I did it. I'm not sure if it is healthy at all. :( )
