bread isn't "really bad" for you- but you could eat healthier. bread just causes water retention. have you ever heard of the cave woman diet? it means eating only unproceced foods that can only be found in nature. that means no bread either but it's a really good diet. the theory behind it is that the humans that were around in the gathering age where they only foraged for food in the wild had a lot better skeletons, less calories and were overall more healthy and lived longer when scientists looked attheir remains- whereas the skeletons that were found that belonged to the farming age were less healthy and had more cavities and things...well- i thought it was neat- i might try it...
