Calculate the healthy amount of calories you need each day to lose weight:1. Begin with a base of 655 calories 655 2. Multiply your weight in pounds by 4.3 3. Multiply your height in inches by 4.7 4. Add together the totals from #1, #2, and #3 5. Multiply your age by 4.7 6. Subtract result of #5 from #4 (your normal Resting Metabolic Rate) 7. Multiply #6 by your activity factor (your daily maintenance calories) Activity Factor:Sedentary: 1.2Light activity: 1.3Moderate activity: 1.4High activity: 1.6 8. Subtract 250-500 calories (your daily weight loss calories)
