Message Replying To From Annie, Age 14 Did you know that 97 million people are overweight or obese? yea scary but i got this calendar and under the month of june it has a little bulletin or something about various stuff. so for june it's about weight. did u also know that the prevalence of obesity has increased by 60% in the past 20 years? that's makes u want to do something about it right? of course as u might already know, Amercians are the most fattest people on the planet (i'm american so its not like i'm bashin any1 even though i'm not overweight) and it stands for how poor eating and exercise habits we have. If u are obese u could get diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, stroke, and even some forms of cancer, scary as it may be. Even a 5%-7% weight loss is effictive in improving blood glucose control. there are some ways to lose 500 calories a day. instead of drinking regular soda, drink diet soda, which is a calorie reduction of 135 calories. instead of eating regular yogurt, eat low-fat yogurt which is a calorie reduction of 120 calories. Instead of eating a danish pastry, eat an orange which is a calorie reduction of 250 calories. and say u eat a meatball and cheese sub, instead u couldeat turkey with mustard and save 315 calories! so look at alternatives. just a bit of info i thought i might share with u. good luck at ur weight loss. and remember ******* u don't have to go on a diet to lose weight, all u have to do is change ur LIFESTYLE************** God bless ~annie |
