Message Replying To From Mandi, Age 17 this is for anyone who is interested. Something i like to snack on during the day is sunflower seeds, they take some time to eat so im not pigging out, they are salty so they encourage me to drink more water and i just like sunflower seeds. It hard when eating snacks like this however because the nutrition facts are in ounces..right like i keep a scale right on my desk. I have calculated that about 100 kernels is .5 oz (less calories when you split it up) so that makes a whole oz 200 kernels. How i got this conclusion was i saw how many ounces were in the whole back by looking at the serving size and began to seperate them into piles. Ive also used this trick for beef jerky if the serving size is 3 seperate the bag into 3 piles. If you only want the calories in 1/2 size cause 1 full serving is a bit much then seperate the 3 into 6. This methods works for me and i just thought i would share it. |
