~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Jess, Age 18

I got down to my lowest weight in Spring of 2003. At that time I weight 150lbs (I'm currently around 210lbs). Unsure of how exactly I lost the weight, I'm really not sure how to begin a weight loss plan. I'm unable to pay for the expenses of professional help, so WeightWaters/Curves is totally out of the question. I dance every other day for no less than 40 minutes, I don't drink soda unless it's diet, nor do I consume any other high sugar beverages. Yet, I haven't had much luck in losing weight. I'd have to say the hardest part of maintaining a healthy eating habit is staying away from carbohydrates. Most of my weight is in my belly which leaves me with a high risk of a heart attack if not diabetes. That is my main concern for losing weight. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me figure out an excercise plan. Are there any forms of excercise that could give my metabolism a boost? Thanks
