Ht. 5'9, Wt. 200-150Goal - Just a keep truckin post-- I just was readin all these posts and was like.. why.. why am I sitting here in my chair reading about being heavy.. and talking about being heavy.. but not doing anything about it.. hmm so I jumped up got on my stupid treadmill and ran... I ran and ran.. then I looked down and what I thought was forever was about 3 minutes lol.. But anyhow before I got on I made a goal.. 10 minutes.. no matter what.. running walking just..10 minutes on the treadmill.. I thought I was gonna die around 7... but I cut it down.. I went alright.. 7 minutes... only 1 more minute and I'll be on minute 8.. I can do it because I said I would... and I really thought I was gonna fall off but I kept going .. by the time I got to 10 I was only going 1 mph.. but I made it..10 minutes on the treadmill! for most of you you're like.. uhh good for you.. But no.. see thats the point.. take something exercise wise and make a goal.. make it high.. one you're not totally sure you can make but make it possible.. be like " I'm going to do 30 situps.." For some 30 is high.. like me lol.. and stick to it.. allow a break at half way.. but only like 3 minutes then continue. Also, when I played volleyball and softball my coach's taught me a breathing tech. some may know.. when you are all out of breath put both hands behind your head.. it opens up your pipes or something and lets u catch your breath easier. Remember when you are about to quit.. tomorrow you wont be dreading doing what you did the day before unless you over work yourself.. and I've heard with time.. and doing it every day stuff gets easier.
