Message Replying To From Jules, Age 15 Ht. 5'6, Wt. 180 - Hey, y'all! I have some super-exciting news! For all of you girls who think you aren't attractive just because you aren't super-skinny (and I guess boys, too), here is a story for you: This weekend (Saturday night, actually), I went to a party. I was also the only girl from my school there, and I didn't know too many people. I can't dance sexy, just so you know, so I completely humiliate myself on purpose instead (I'm not actually humiliated -- I love it!) by dancing totally crazy (sooooo fun!), and everyone loves watching me do that and some people are brave enough to join in with me. I have also never grinded before (sorry if this seems to personal, but it's an example!). So I'm not dancing crazy, but I'm dancing in front of a guy I met, and he starts grinding with me! I was like OMG! I have to say, also, that I looked VERY good that night! Super-nice-looking outfit! Another guy also asked me to dance (the same way) and after that he wanted to dance again! Then the first guy danced with me again and we just all had so much fun! This gave me such a confidence boost! I felt so good about myself, and I knew that guys actually thought I was attractive! So, you see, you don't have to be skinny to be attractive! One piece of advice: Never say "fat." It's such a nasty word, and it makes you feel worse about yourself. I never say that I am "fat." That's also why I put it in quotes. I know I'm not fat, I'm just not super-skinny. I prefer to call myself "voluptuous." I don't look like I weight 180 pounds! I am somewhat athletic, so some of it is muscle. I am sure that this is the case with a lot of you! I had so much fun this weekend, and you can all have fun, too! Don't let your weight make you feel bad about yourself! I am sure you will soon find out that you aren't as bad as you think you are! I am very excited about the dance next Saturday for my school, and I want everybody to feel the way I did on Saturday night: confident! Be confident! You are strong and beautiful, and don't let anyone EVER tell you otherwise, and if they have the nerve to tell you otherwise, don't believe it because it isn't true! Have FUN! I did, and so can you! |
