BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'6, Wt. 246 - I was here along time ago. And obviously, I didn't stick with it then, but now, I am actually determined because in the last 2.5 months, I have lost 21 pounts, which is really healthy and actually will stay off other than yo-yo diets. Anyway, I know I have also lost inches because none of my clothes are fitting properly[which is amazing]. Anyway, I guess it comes from gym class this year where I walk at least a mile[usually 2] three days a week, and the fact that I don't eat as much. The best advice I can give is to give yourself motivation, not to deprive yourself entirely, weigh yourself only once a week[same day, time, etc], exercise and cut back on what you eat. It really does work and nothing is going to be instant, so if you expect to lose alot very quickly, you are going to disappoint yourself and want to give up.
