~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'6, Wt. 190 ish - Hey, y'all! Okay, I just wanted to say something, just for you all to know. I have read about some people starting a vegetarian diet. I am a vegetarian, and I became one because I love animals, not to lose weight. That's not my point, though. My point is, I'm a vegetarian, but I am still overweight. Meat is healthy for you, as long as it's not in excess. Meat and fish are both very high in protein and other nutrients that our bodies need. I get those things from things like tofu and vegetables and milk and fruit and I do eat fish. Whatever happens, you can't lose weight by just changing your diet -- you need to exercise, too. Also, just because you cut out meat doesn't mean you are cutting out what's bad for you. Meat is not as bad for you as french fries or candy and stuff like that. Just don't get your hopes too high about the whole vegetarian thing. Good luck, though!
