Message Replying To From Orcy, Age 14 Ht. 5'7", Wt. Start : 171 Now :166 - ahh my first day of track was today. lets just say it was an easy day and my legs are sore. ugh. i didnt walk at all though, so im happy. anyway, first we ran 3/4 of a mile to warm up, stretched, then did strides for a little bit (where you jog then sprint then slow down to a jog on the straightaway of teh track) then we did plyos (high knees, these skippy things, butt kicks and more).. and i was totally fine with that, but then.. ughh.. we did in and out where on the track (which is 1/4 mile) you have to jog the curves and sprint the straight-a-way. and the straightaway is muuchh onger then the curves lol. and we had to do 2 laps of that which was another half a mile.. but anyway, i didnt walk but i had to jog wicked slow and my sprint was more of a regular jog because my legs were soar from the plyos. so now im sitting here with my icy hot patch on my legs, wicked sore. im not gonna even be able to do the warmup tomorrow because my legs are so sore lol. anyyyway, today i ate for brek: kashi bar, high fiber yogurt. lunch: 1/4 of a sandwich, sunchips,(which are less fat then regular chips) carrots, and a 100 calorie pack. i didnt have a snack becasue of track and for dinner i had whole wheat noodles, garlic bread, and meatballs.. howd i do? |
