Ht. 5'8, Wt. 163ish - I know I just posted but this is a diff topic for everyone. I got a thing in the mail about a weight loss book and it said that doing sit ups acutally makes you get a pot belly! They said if you want to keep your pot belly keep doing sit ups. Just thought you'd all want to know. And another thing it said was that if you work out and sweat on a heavy exercise session your metabolism returns back to its previous sluggish state after just 30 - 60 min! It says to keep your Meta - Stat set on HIGH, you don't have to sweat yourself silly in a gym class or jog to alaska and back. You simply have to tweak your metabolism at reg. intervals during the day so it keeps revving all day long. Those tweaks can be as easy as a few deep breaths, some stretching, a brief walk down the hall at school, or even chewing gum! At most this program suggests you do about 10 min of aerobic exercise (w/ 5 min of warm - up and 5 min or cool - down) three times a week! Also some easy secrets to "program" your body to burn more fat w/ everytick of the clock. Examples : Standing in line: shift your weight to one leg. Tense your leg muscles and rise onto the ball of the weight - bearing foot. Slowly lower your heel. Then shift your weight to the other leg and repeat... Talking on the phone : Get yourself a cordless phone, or better yet, a cell phone w/ a headset. Then move while you talk!
