If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Message Replying To From Tasha, Age 16 Ht. 5'4, Wt. 147 - Hey there...this is only my second day being on here. Im really excited because i never knew there were sites like this out there. I feel relieved to know that there are people that i can talk to that are going through this too. Some people may look at my weight and say "no big deal" but i have two really bad knees and will have to have both knees replaced by the time im 25 and i cant move very much without getting very tired and out of breath. My unhealthy eating has caused my skin to go nutso on me. I am starting a stimulant today for my schooling and so i can focus clearly on life. One of the side effects are decreased appetite which is great because i have the tendency to eat all the time. i can watch a show on tv and every single commercial i am getting up to eat something else, not snacks but like whole meals every commercial. Its not that i am hungry its just that i need something to do. i am going to take up quilting soon and see if that will help with my boredom issues. If i havent mentioned yet...im homeschooled which means i am home ALL DAY mostly by myself. Oh and i dont like the taste of water so what should i drink instead? my ultimate weight goal is 115-120lbs which is about 30lbs. I need to do this for my health and for my self-esteem. I really want to feel good about myself. I dont want to be self-conscious when i sit down and i dont want to hate swimming just because everything shows when i put on a swimsuit.
