Message Replying To From ebbiler, Age 20 Ht. 5'5, Wt. 134 - I see a lot of you younger guys/gals have this instant desire to lose weight ASAP. The truth is, you can't. Sure the first week is the easiest and you lose a lot of water weight. This is a lifestyle change that you need to make!! It's not just for your sisters wedding, a dance, or for the summer. The only way you can lose the weight successfully and keep it off is good eating and exercise. Our country seems to associate healthy eating with undesireable which is untrue. Cut back on sodium in meals, don't drink soda or juice, cut way back on your junk food, and EXERCISE! If you get your heart rate up for 35 minutes a day, that's enough. Roller blade or ride your bike. For breakfast drink carnation instand breakfast with a banana, for lunch have a great salad with grilled chicken or tuna, for dinner eat sensible. Talk to your parents also! They can really help you out. Your entire family can make a life style change. America is over weight! |
