Message Replying To From *Hidden*, Age 15 Ht. 5'6", Wt. 180 - I have been considered overweight for years, and years. By the time I first turned 15 I was almost hitting 200lbs. I knew that it had to change. My parents and all of my friends are completely fit, I am the total outcast compared to them. I wanted to change my image. I wanted to be like every other teen out there, have a great life, get a girl. And I am still on that journey. My weight loss has been absolutely astonishing. The only way that I can fully explain it's success is just the PURE WILL in wanting to be fit. In the morning I have a banana, I go to school, eat the regular cafeteria food, and then go home and eat one helping of what's for dinner, and no more eating from there. This diet, (and I believe) the vision of being skinny, and seeing all my friends has driven my matabolism up. I wake up each morning, and check my weight. I lose 3-4 pounds /a day/. In the beginning I had tried to starve myself, and I can tell you now, THAT WILL NOT WORK, all it will do is KILL your motabolism and you will get NO WHERE. *TIPS* 1. Eat only what is necessary, you need an AVERAGE breakfast (i.e. Banana, ONE bowl of cereal, apple, etc.) 2. Avoid eating after 7:00 P.M. 3. Look around your school, see the people there, but dont get discouraged, BE INSPIRED to be like them! 4. Never EVER give up! YOU WILL LOSE THE WEIGHT! 5. Check your weight every morning, not night. 6. Find alternatives to eating! When you get hungry after a meal, go outside instead! You may think you're hungry, but you are probably just wanting to taste something good. Try bubble gum, and drink water! I believe that you too can have success in losing weight! I have dropped from an XL shirt to a large, and TWO inches off my waist IN ONE MONTH after I /TRULY, REALLY/ believed I could do it! YOU CAN DO THE SAME! :D |
