My son is like that also, he could care less if he is overweight. I think one of the reasons is that they need to hear it from an outside source-doctor probably. I share your thoughts that it is very frusterating when you are trying to help. I just keep trying-I found that because he's a follower, I try to have friends or family over that have healthy eating habits- and are active. It seems to help over everything else that I've tried. I've even made different arrangements for his childcare when others didn't want to listen to me about the fact that he needed to learn healthier habits.
