I'm not overweight but I'm worried about becoming overweight. My family always goes out to eat fast food about THREE times a week. When we go to lets say McDonalds I'll tell my parents I don't want anything to eat because I already ate a sandwich at home. (I don't lie) But then my parents make me eat and I hate it. I don't want to be fat. Fast food is so bad for you. Do you guys have any tips to eat healthier? Also does anyone know of an exercise video that works?

If they're going to McDonald's go for the salads they have there. Remember, nobody can make you eat something you don't want to. They can make you order and then sit there with them....but they cant force you to eat it. But, i say go for the salads or the soups.

I need help. I'm desperate. Ive gorged at to so many fast food places in the past week and just realized all the weight i gained. Im over 250 lbs. Ive gotton so much bigger. Im ballooning up enormously. My already big stomach, thighs and love handles have been growing huge and out of control. I eat whenerver i feel like it and even when im full. I get tired whenever i get up. I need to no how to kick the bad eating habits. PLEASE HELP!

Be careful of what you eat. Exersize regularelly and when you see the tv or anything that will slow you down just say yourself "If I wan't to loose weight I have to hold back on this stuff." Intstead of going to a fast food resterant go to a less-fattening place. Drink lots of water!!!

if any one in here thinks they cant lose weight that is so not true i did . i lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks and the only reason why i did that was after i saw my nutritionist and she put me on a diet that was not as strict as most and i walked every day and i lost 10 pounds and i know any one can do. do it for yourself not for anyone else.

Hello everyone my name is Jessica i am 12 years old i am 5"0 and weigh 132 pounds! I had a solo and when the camera zoomed in on me I was embarassed to be watching myself. I've recently joined Curves gym. It's so much fun, but it's hard to get out there 3 times a week. Start slow. dont try to do too much at once or change drastically. start by eating different things, healthier things. i dont sugest running, it may be too hard on ur knees but try to walk a little, even if its only a block. try not to feel bad. yes, you got urself in this but now u are getting urself out and b proud of that. human bodies werent made to lose weight. in the past losing weight was very bad because u could die of starvation. u have to try to trick ur body into losing weight slowly. check with a doctor on what else u can do. ur not disgusting and ugly. keep in mind that u won't b like this forever if u really dont want too. and if u want to eat something fatty ask urself if u really want it and remind urself how proud ull b when u didnt eat it later. Ht. 5'6", Today: 185 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 150 lb - Hey all... wow this is really embarassing... I should just get off the computer and do something interesting.. but here I am... I wanna lose weight. I'm 5'6", and I weight 185lbs, my healthy weight should be around 150lbs... but I've always been over the norm, it runs in the family, on my mom's side, her sister is HUGE, like REALLY obese, and on my dad's side, all the women have big bones, like really, like picture, i dunno... Vikings... you know REALLY thick bones... (at least I wont get osteoporosis). Then there's diabetes, my aunt(maternal), dad and grandpa (paternal) have it... I've inherited the bones... so im really strong, but im afraid on turning into a THICK boned version of my aunt... so I try to lose weight... I want to be healthy... I've tried many things... I lost 10lbs during sept and xmas... but around quebec... there's SO much fatty foods at the holidays... its GROSS... but its a tradition... so I gained it back... I dont know if I will EVER be able to catch up to what I should weigh... do you think I CAN lose weight even considering family history?

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that alot of women in my family are bigboned or overweight and I am like 10 pounds overweight and I allready lost some weight so If you really want to lose weight you have to work hard for it and it really doesn't matter if you have thick bones because you can still try to get a healthy weight. I know how you feel I gained heaps of weight in a short period of time too. I think that you have to just stop what you are doing ( i did this) and sit down and think about what you are doing. Step back and look at what you are eating and how much exercise you are doing. Then make yourself a plan that you know you will stick to and that fits in with your life. For me, I like counting calories so thats what I do. You have to get back into control. About your mom, why dont you just ask her not to tell anyone. Explain how upset you will be if she does and how this problem is hurting you. I was losing weight for years on my own diet plan and no one knew about it, not my family or even closest friends cause I was too embarressed to tell anyone.
