That way you will stay away from the food and be active which will help you gain muscle and lose fat

Ht. 5'5", Start: 170 lb, Today: 151 lb (BMI: 25), Goal: 130 lb - so i have been struggling with losing weight for a while and it seems as though im having a realyl hard time on a simple task which is dont eat when you are not hungry. when it comes to eating meals i eat healthy i eat salads and eggs and just good things but it seems as though i get bored between meals, i wont be hungry but i will be like hmm i want chocolate and i will eat it and then feel bad but when im eating it its like i dont care its weird i was wondering if any one had any tips to not eat when your not hungry its really frustrating im soo close to my goal i dont want to give up now im really active so i have been staying the same weight but i want to continue to lose please help

Write in your Dairy or call friends on the phone, pet your cat,dog, hamster, whatever fur pet you have in the house I do the lazier on the flashlight with my second cat. Put the timer for 15 miuntes that will help you from craving. Do walking, running, that will get boradness out. clean up the yard, gardening. helps, biking scoctering, rolling sakting, hikeing, jumping jacks, sit and up reachs, soft ball, scocer, horse back riding if your family can afforid, tennis, mile run, all this will make you less borad, and they will help you lose weight.

Then I get hungry. And hungrier. Well, I think about eating the food, and then it makes me hungry. Then I eat. And eat. And eat. Help!

Belle- Your only 9 and already 5'1? Wow- your going to be a tall young lady!! I'm a PE teacher and have been for a long time now-Many of my students tell me the same thing-( I can't go outside) so my question to them was... ok then what are some exercises you can do inside based on some of things we do already in our class- hope this helps... #1- turn TV OFF- unless your doing wii just dance!!( We have it and love it-great workout!) #2- ask your mom to buy exercise videos @ store that look fun( fun is the key word)or # 3 go in your room- put your favorite music on and get moving by: jumping jacks,push-ups,sit-ups,stretches,jogging in place,dance moves(hey noones watching :)) twist turn karate kicks you name it- do this for about 5 of ur favorite songs- then slow it down with soft music and some yoga( if you know some) if not just restretch.... after all this is said and done- drink lots ... Hi Bailey, I am also struggling with my weight. I have started walking and riding my bike more with my dad. I have been eating more fruit and drinking more water. I also put just regular cheerios in a zip lock bag and use them for snacking on. I weigh 100 lbs and im 4'9" too. Good luck! Anna

Hey! I hav the same problem but you can jog a few times around the block, jump rope, and do jumping jacks for like 10 minutes each day, and cut back on your portions of food slowly, and drink LOTS og water! :) and also if u eat when your bored( like me) you could try thinking about a food that you Really don't like.

I also eat when I'm bored..alot. I know how hard it is.My advice is exercise. It has really helped me alot. If you feel like you are bored and going for food, try finding something that turns your attention away from food

Ht. 5'10, Wt. 225 - HEY everyone...i figured somthing out today.....i eat when i am bored...it kinda weird but i just started my summer jon and i am so busy all the time that i dont even think about eating. I took a case of water and put it under my desk and some weight watchers food just in case....but i found out that usually i dont want to eat anything... so i guess i am a boredom eater...does this happen to any body else? if so what do u do to avoid eating just out of boredom?

I'm trying to break the habbit of eating out of boredom myself. Over break I just stay one the computer or active so I don't over eat. Like today I'm going camping. I will be camping until sunday. Just getting out and keeping busy keeps me from over eating.

Woo dance was a work out tonight and it's so so so so much fun! Guess what?........... I passed to level 6! My diet is going really good for the first 3 days. I'm a whole lot more active now and the house is getting clean plus I'm getting paid to do it. I'm the same but i'm 5 ft 8 and 210lbs i eat when i'm bored shall we try tpo play more sports or get an exersise tape which will make us feel better, when u enetr pubity u need tp exersise ure body or u will be less likely to have children! comne on hun, we can do this!

Thanx rachel i will start adding on ten sit up each week.Does anybod have any advise to me? Congrat to everybody who has lost weight. And I hope people keep losing it.And if you are bored and you go to eat something and you don't feel like exercising or cant exercise or something like that... have you ever tryed reading a seventeen magazine or any kind of magazine or book? it works great 4 me if i get a craving and can't go out side and play basketball or anything else.
