I have a good tip for those of you suffering from the munchies.Get on the computer or just sit in your room and put the radio or your fave c.d. on. Then sing along with all the songs.If you don't know the words,make up your own.This will keep your mouth busy so you don't have to rush into the kitchen to eat something.hope this helps some of you!

Hey! ok, I really want to lose 15 pounds but I can't seem to stick with my diet because I always give into my cravings for chocolate and other junky foods. It's so frustrating!! dont worry your not the only 1 i have the same problem,...every time you think about giving in just think of the body youll have and how others will treat you or even that if you aviod you cravings it will get you 1 step closer to your crush and the person you wanna be!

try to not get that hungry while you're around food. like eat something on the way home, something healthy- then when you're home you won't be so hungry and crave so much stuff...

is there anyone here that knows a really good way to stay on a diet cuz i start out good, go for about a week and then if i eat ONE thing off my diet, i start eating everything in sight! i really would like to lose about 30-40 pounds by thanksgiving cuz a lot of family that i haven't seen in a while is coming up and i hate being the fat cousin. is there anything i could do to keep the motivation for my diet?

i read the blubberbuster advice for cravings and it said to hold your hands together. i was like yeah right! that is not going to work for me! but last night i watched my boyfriend eat a reeses sunday and i didn't have a single bite. as simple as it sounds- it works, hey- if you don't have your hands free then you won't grab and eat stuff. also try to keep busy too-make it so you don't have time to binge, whether it's mentally busy or physically busy...

the only advice i can give is for you to eat only when your hungry and when you do eat, only eat enough to fill you up. if you go into the kitchen to get a snack when your not hungry, you need to think to yourself "i want to lose weight and by eating this food when im not hungry i am gaining more weight". the only thing you can do is fight yourself and not eat if your not hungry and dont eat a lot when you are hungry. good luck!

hey! i know what you're going through but just think about how disappointed and mad you'll be at yourself about an hour after you eat whatever it is that you're craving for. also, brushing your teeth whenever you have a craving for junk food should help cuz who wants mint flavored chips :)? good luck!

Hey Dawn! I've read past posts of yours and I think it's awesome how far you've come. I was just wondering if there is any specific thing that makes you keep that determination to lose weight cuz I've been trying to eat healthier, drink water and excercise but I can't seem to get the determination to follow through with any diet. If you (or anyone else) know of ANYTHING I could do to keep myself on a diet, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

well make sure u are doing something at four and maybe u wont get the craving cuz a craving is just a mental thing that is telling ur body to eat when u arent hungry an to break that u need to be doing something at 4 and then see if u get it u might but u need to ask urself do i want to pay the price of eating this candy the price is getting fat and say to urself could i have a carrot and pay the price of being healthy think bout that.
