I'm the same weight,height,and age as you so I know how you feel. Try to get into a sport like football, basketball, or baseball thats a fun way to get physically fit and get your mind off food. It works for me. Try to stay active and have fun by doing it like running around and playing with friends.

Hey there! I am 15 years old, 5'5, and I weigh about 150 lbs... I am really into sports and I love playing them, but when I am not at practice or in school I am sitting on the couch eating junk food. I realize that I am not hungary... and I need some advice on what I should do. Its like everytime I get bored, I open the fridge to entertain myself. hey dont watch tv as much, that is what makes you bored, and really try not to eat whle watching tv, it makes you eat more, true fact! listen to music and while listening do stomach crunches, if you just listen to the music you wont be concetrating on the crunches so they wont do as hard

hi, i am not really big or anything but i know some ways that can help. i chew gum alot and i know if i didn't chew my gum i would just be eating like heck. so chew gum. GUM HELPS! ;) !

Hi I'm Adam I'm 12 4'11" and I weigh 220 pounds. I really just want some people to talk to, I sometimes really hate being fat then other times I don't care. I do eat WAAAY too much because I do love to eat. I wish I was thin but I never want to diet or excercise, especally I hate to excercise. I don't have too many friends because I'm too fat for sports and stuf like that so no-one wants to be with me so I really would like someone to talk to and help me lose weight. Hey Adam, If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much. You probably haven't hit your main growth spurt yet. Most boys don't really grow until they get into high school, usually between the 9th and 10th grades, especially if your parents are taller than you. Also, when you want to snack, you should try to snack on low fat foods and things like apples and carrots. I think that you should ask your parents to let you do something like join Boy Scouts, go skating, or join a bowling league. Never think that you can't be active because you are fat, because I have been fat my entire life and I have been playing sports for just as long. Just try to be more active so that you are focusing on things other than food. PS, tv and the computer are good, but you do that while you are sitting. Try to get some kind of activity going that gets you out of the house and moving around. Oh yeah, call around and see if your hometown has a swim team that you cam join...that might be good.

Hi, I am nina and I weigh 145 lbs (66kg). Dieting is soooo hard, and I hate it, but i really want to be thin! It is not eating fruits or veggies that bugs me, but I dont know what it is! Do you have any more dieting tips for me? I really wanna look cool, feel cool , and be cool. I eat fruit, and veggies, but i am not that active. When i am hungrey i eat, But i recently heard, that if when you are hungery, you can do something to distract yourself from the humger. Do you know any ways i can distract myself? when Im hungry I go for a walk. If Im not in the house I cant eat. Ive been doing it alot recently. Its great because its also exercise so Im losing weight.

I know it's hard...but here's a tip that REALLY helped me (I had to loose 45lbs because of a med. condition that I have. Try chewing sugar-free gum whenever your hungry...keep LOTS around, in differant flavors...it feels and tastes like your eating candy...but u'r really doing something good for yourself...also try doing sit-up's and leg lifts while you watch TV, all these things help...and they'r kinda fun and easy, too. Hi. This is my first time on this site. I need help bad. I have been fat for 6 or 7 years now. I am 4'10 and weigh a huge 400 pounds. This makes me feel so sad and unhappy. So I eat. And I mean eat. When I get really unhappy I can eat 2 x-large pizzas myself. My stretche marks line my body. I have a donut sized belly butten. I need specially made cloths. I tried to find cloths at normal stores but they didn't fit. 2 years ago I was at a friend's house swimming. I put my new swim suit on and the seems exploded the seconde I bent over. I just feel so bad. Please help me. I need all the help and comments I can get.

Hi, Here is a tip i picked up the other day.If you are unhappy with yourself and eat to make up for it you should get a hobby (no offense but not eating).Okay when you start to think about picking up a donut or a pizza you should go and start doing things that have to do with your hobby(here are some ideas for your hobbys exercising,writing stories, going on the internet to surf,read books,go outside and shoot some hoops (basketball),or even studying,etc.....)!! Hey everybody! You have a British visitor here! Anyway, I'm about 11 stones (I'm not sure what that is in pounds, if u know, please tell me!!) I'm not really overweight but I hate the fact that I'm larger than all of my friends. I just pick at food all day. If I'm bored, I'll just go see what's in the kitchen and if there's something there, I'll eat it, then go back for more. I carry on this way til I'm not hungry and then have to eat dinner so my mum doesn't realise what I've been doing!! Hey! next time your bored and you want to eat 1)have a glass of ice cubes or water or 2) Go for a walk! I heard that excercising makes you less hungry and if you don't like excercising, tell youself it's NOT excercising, it's just a little walk! 3)If there's any dogs in you're neighborhood offer to walk them for money.The dog gets a walk, you get money and excercise, I mean a harmless walk that can make you lose weight AND have fun!
