I'm 12 and i'm like 20 pounds overweight. it's really loose fat too, it jiggles when I walk. my mom says i'm not fat but people make fun of me and i'm really tired of it. i need to lose weight now!does any one know any diets or ideas that will help me lose weight but aren't so bizzare and costly that my mom makes me stop.

just eat less then you do- change your eating habits slight ly- only drink water and eat way more veggies and way less junk food and less carbs. you can do things that'll shave off pounds without making it complicated. also up your exersize- do a lot of cardio and a few days of weight lifting with free weights(which are really cheap- i got two 5lb ones at tj max for 10 dollars)you might want to invest on a fun cardio work out tape such as taebo because it's worth it and doesn't cost that much. also- drink 3 cups of green tae a day and as much water as you can and have at least 4 servings of veggies. good luck!cut back on those calories!

Today: 225 lb - im 16 and i weigh 225lbs ive been battling my weight since i was about 13. ive done weight watchers slimfast and hypnosis but i cant seen to stick with any rutine. my brother is getting married i one year and i want to look great. does any one have any suggestions on how i can find a plan a stick to it. hope to hear from you!

I know it is really hard to get into a routine because i just started a routine about 2 months ago. My family started to workout every morning, not a hard workout but a little one, about 20 minutes long. Just walk or something. Then once you get in that routine start cutting back on some foods. Something that I cut out was soft drinks. I cut out all sugary drinks. It was really hard for a week or so then it started getting easy. A good place to workout would be a gym or something, because if your just at home by yourself than you probably won't feel as motivated as you would if you were at a gym, because there are people around. I've been doing this for about 2 months and have lost about 15 pounds so far. It takes time but when you get into the habit of doing this than it will be a whole lot easier.

No you cant lose that much weight in one month sorry. But you can do it in a couple months. The healthiest amount of weight to lose a month is 10 pounds it takes time. But if you lose weight fast you will gain it back fast. This is what you should do for diet do what my friend did she cut out all snacks and sugar all she ate were 3 healthy meals a day. And she lost 20 pounds in one summer. But to lose weight a little faster add 30 minutes exercise 5 days a week. Do what you like to do bike ride, walk, swim etc. Don't wrry you will see major results in 3 months.

This is what you should do. Cut way down on fried food and sugar. Drink more water. And exercise 30 minutes a day. Do what you like to do bike ride, walk, swim, etc. You will see results and I hope this helps.

Well I would have to know how much you want to loose! but all I can say is i lost weight by playing sports and walking but mostly running and you can always get a friend to do the same with you! I weigh 105 now but remember i never use to weigh that much i will tell u this it's hard work but it pays off all u have to do i work at it! you can do it. i would also say do eat much for lunch and supper eat but not a whole lot like cut what u normally eat in half that will also help and watch the fatty foods you eat cuz that doesn't help when your trying to loose weight!if u work hard it will pay off! but u just have to try it out don't go on a diet it doesn't work just lots of nutrition an working out works don't exspect a big change right away it will come over time but trust me u should see changes within a mounth that is if u work out every day.

I have tried so many diets i cant even imagine... weight watchers, Jenny Craig, Slim Fast, stop eating, and etc.. nothing ever works! there is this one time during the summer when ifirst came to this site when i lost 6 lbs in 2 days everyone was motivating me, and i was doing so good i got down to like 206 and now i am like almost 230! I am so depressed and sad, and there is this guy that is so nice and he even admitted he liked me for me and not my body. but i wanan look good when i meet him if i do which will be in July, and then all my ffriends are skinny, i wanna be able to run fast look good get guys play softball better, and so much more! I am now like i said ranging from 215-230 lbs and need major help! I am 5'6 or 5'7 and have six months to take off 100 lbs I wanna look awesome for the summer, and then my aunt I want my acne to go away too, which i will control after the weight is gone! I wanna start HIgh school as a new me with the same friends and more each yr, and i dun wanna be scared to go up in front of the class anymore!!! I wanna try out for sports and look good! but I cant! I also wanna make my breast size decreas meaning smaller is there any way?? also, I have stretch marks .. after I lose the weight how can o get them to go away?? Main areas where i need work are thighs, breast, stomach , and arms.. I am gonna try to sart a diet of sum sort this week, and my goal is to lose about 15 lbs every 3rd week!! weight loss is a long process...You will be able to do it, the healthy amount of weight to loose / week is 2-3 ponds. The healthier you are about it the longer it will stay off. You have to remebr that loosing weight is a life style change, not an easy fix! Be good to yourself, count calories, exercise (even if its just walking around your neighborhood a few times or getting an exercise tape and do it in your room) once you start loosing weight you wont want to stop, make it fun. Set a goal and when you get down to it treat yourself but not with food! for example like when you loose 20 pounds take yourself out to a movie...ect. If you do it healthy and watch your caloric intake and exercise daily you will see a drastic decrease in weight and an increase in self-esteem! Keep at it! It is tought but in the end it is all worth it! Good luck!

ok your not real7y fat atall but if you do want to loose weight try drinking water in stead of eating chocolate and eat meals slowly and you get full loads quicker and stop eating when you are full never try to get that little bit in and do about 20-100 sit ups every day and walk to school or grab some friends to go for a bike ride it worked for me i went to 120lb to 110lb by doing the things i jst told you i hope it helps good luck :+)

I'm always made fun of at school and my friends are all normal weights and shapes. My best friend is the same age and height as me and weighs 128 - that's over 40lbs less than me. I have a 42" waist and i can rarely find any trousers that fit me in regular shops. What really hurts, thought, is that i weigh more than my dad, who's very tall and my mom, who looks quite chubby. Help, please!!!

i was 170 and 5'5" when i started losing weight now i'm 153. what you need to do it first take control of your diet. know how many calories you're consuming and eat 1500 a day(so that you can stick to it- you can cut down more later) make healthy eating habits such as only drink water for drinks and eat more servings of veggetables daily. also- cut down on mayo- butter- stuff like that. when your diet is something that you can stick to start adding in exersize to your plan. and it's ok to cheat every now and then but once you've cheated get straight back on it. good luck!

well i think that you should run or walk 30 mins. a day, or just go for a bike ride. if you have a pet, even playing with it helps, even if you have a hamster! eat no fats, and no cookies, chips or sugar... have lots of pineapple, grapefruit and oranges, they help.. that's what i'm doing!

Ht. 5'3", Today: 250 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - Hi! This is my first time posting, so I'm not really sure what to say, except some stuff about me! I'm 14, my name is Kate. I'm 5'3" and i weigh 250. I've been big all of my life but now it's really gotten out of control. I go to a cathoilc school and the largest size uniform skirt they make is a 25, which at the moment cuts off my circulation. I'm very tired of being "the big girl". I just want to be "Kate". I want to be sure that when my friends look at me, they see ME, and not my size. I love swimming, volleyball, singing although I'm not good at it, writing (mostly books), and I absolutely ADORE television. I understand that loosing weight is very difficult. The thin people just think if we don't eat as much, we'll lose weight, but it isn't that simple. I am down to a 900 calorie count a day, and I'm still not shedding a pound. It's impossible for me to eat less. They don't understand most of it is genetics, which is what is so frustrating about it. They don't get it. Anyways, I'm just looking for friends who understand how I feel, and who are working toward the same goals I am. :) Cya later! ~Kate

maybe some of the foods you're eating have more calories then you think- or maybe you're not following the serving size which is important. then again like you said it's probably not your eating. you should exersize regularly everyday and you'll be able to feel the difference after a while. becasue for me i exersized to lose weight(i'm still doing that) but now it's fun to exersize and i'm exersizing to become really fit. drink a lot of water like everyone says and eat more high fiber foods because what it does it it clings to certain things(depending on what type of fiber it is) and is unable to be digested so it moves slowly through your body and keeps you full and brings other bad stuff out of your body with it. certain fiber is good becasue it gets rid of cholesteral. good luck!

Ok, first of all, not eating breakfast and lunch is very unhealthy. VERY unheralthy. You should have a godd breakfast. My bud, who is almost the same stats as u, eats watermelon for breakfsat, which supposedly fills her up. She looks really Good. I think she is 5'6 and 155 ish. I dont really like watermelon, so i have a glass of water, and a nutra grain bar, or special K cereal. Special K works well. for Lunch, I have a sandwich ( usually tuna or PBJ ), bottled water, and either asmall bag of pretzels, or carrots. both fill u up well. When I get home from skool, i always have a craving for sweets, but I either do my hw to take up time until dinner, or watch tv/go on the net and chat with buds. It takes up a lot of time, and makes me forget about my carvings for food. I then have dinner (try to eat 1 serving, but u can have more if ur hungry :-) ) and finish up my hw. Exercise is goood!... If u dont play a sport, ask ur parents to sign u up 4 1. I play soccer (although we had our lats game on sat, and i sprained my ankle lol) and it keeps me fit.
