YES! i love my boyfriend's siter and my mentor anf friend. she gave me this really great p.m. conditioning for weight loss yoga set for my yule gift! i really love it and i plan on trying it out tomorrow night. i'm hoping it'll help with my semi-insomniac behavior lately by relaxing me while helping me lose weight. i plan to do taebo for 30 min. first thing in the morning to get me energized and to burn calories and to use my new yoga set at night to calm me down and stretch out my muscles and tone...

i've lost 22 pounds but a lot longer than 2 months. i just count my calories and have anywhere between 1000-1500 a day and try to eat mostly meats and veggies for it and i only drink water and tea and use artificial sweetener for a lot of things. i also do taebo and an assortment of other exersizes from crunches to belly dancing. lately i've been working on my mind. i'm trying to make it so i don't think aqbout food when i'm truely not hungry. well good lucka nd i hoped i helped...

Today: 157 lb - hey guys! i need soem help! so somebody pleez answer this i ate crappy all week i ate pizza,chips, candy lots fo fatty stuff even butter! but the thign is ive lost weight b4 that week i was 158 and by the end i was 157 !how does that work? also i need soem ideas on fun excercisign i can do in the house that really works and i dont need equipment!and soem meals that are good and really low in aftening maybe snacks too?? pleez help guys!

Hi Jessica, Try to use as little butter as possible or use a low fat spread. Tell you parents that you are going to give up chips etc as a new years resolution so you dont want any fatty foods for dinner. Gte an aerobics book out of the library and do some. If you have a stairs, run up and down it. Try and go swimming regularly with a friend because it is a really good and fun way to get exercise.

Alot of times if you start a really extreme diet you will be more likely to "pig out" often, so just start out with a siple diet and gradually (sp?) work you're way up, its worked for me so far!

hi i just found this site a real big problem has happened to me im 11 and i weigh 214 pounds...IM NOT LYING well now i weigh more than 214 cuz on thanksgiving i ate A LOT and i gained 6 pounds a confesssion...I CAN EVEN SIT STRAIT IT HURTS I CANT EVEN FIT IN MY DESK IT HURTS i used to be average weight but i gained a lot in just this year i gained 32lbs. yea my whole family is skinny people at school call me tubby tabby and i just can stand it right at this moment im eating a slice of pizza...ive already eaten 3i have to wear stretch clothing AND WELL I NEED ADVICE but not like DIET OR DONT EAT THAT PIZZA pleez just gimme something helpful pleez

i think u an i have the same problem i am 5ft and wegh 150 but i no it is hard 2 lose weght but i have all ready lost 25 ponds just by walking every night and haveing things like apples and yogurt 4 breaksast and 4 on;y haveing 2 slices of pizza

Ht. 5'5", Start: 158 lb, Today: 126 lb (BMI %tile: 66), Goal: 115 lb - hey, everyone's been asking me how i went from 5'3" 158 pounds to 5'4.5" 126.5 pounds. well the first thing i wanna say is that it was not easy. weight loss is not any easy goal to acomplish, so if you dont suceed the first time dont give up, it'll take a couple of tries before it actually works. over summer i was very active. i didnt go out and take a jog or anything, just normal activities, walking around with friends, swimming, stuff like that. i also watched what i was eating. it took awhile to get it all off, but eventually it did. be patient and dont give up. good luck everyone!

The best way to start losing weight is to set a reasonable goal. Then, start by cutting down your portion size at meals. If you serve yourself, just take one scoop of pasta less than you normally take. If your mom serves you, or you have tv dinners, cafeteria lunches, etc... then just leave a little bit of each thing on the plate. In regards to junk food, put a small amount in baggies; then put the baggies in a special cupboard. Allow yourself one a day. Also, if you find yourself sneaking food because you don't want your mom to know you are eating (I did that alot), ask yourself why you are sneaking it. If you need to sneak it, do you really need to be eating it? Good luck!

Donuts areally fatening. You should not eat them that often. I used to eat very badly, but I set a goal for myself, and reached it. Instead of sweets, I ate fruits and vegies, and instead of watching tv, I went for walks around the block. It really works. It's been 2 years now of eating healthy, and I have lost about 40 pounds. You can do it if you really want.

Don't take on more tha you can hadle. It's not that I don't think you can't handle it, it's just that sometimes I make a huge plan for myself instead of taking it a day at a time. this makes me overwhelmed. I try to make smaller goals.

eat the healthiest stuff first before you dig into the yummy stuff that you know you won't be able to stop and eat as slow as you can- put your fork down between bites so you'll notice the full feeling sooner...

Hey, im kind of new here and this is my first post. I dance 5 hours a week, and am starting to do the eliptical trainer for 30 minutes 4-5 times a week, since i just got one for my brithday, which is today:)From the summer of 2002 untill now, i've gained 48 pounds!!I know, its so mucnn a year and a half or so. im despritely neeeding to loose that 50 pounds or so. I really want to be healthy, not just for looks, but mostly to dance better and feel more confident and be healthier. I really need to stop eating so much because that is my mail problem. please please help me, any advice, or tips would be great. And for those who have lost around 50 pounds, who weighed 175 (or around there), and now weigh around 120-125-ish,please let me know how long it took, details bout how it felt, when you saw reasults felt better, etc and how you did it! thasnks so much, peace for life

my goal weight is 130- i'm not there yet but i used to weigh 170(i'm about 5'5") and now i weigh 152. i'm losing weight by taebo(or a half hour of good exersize a day) and eating 1200-1500 calories a day and drinking a lot of water and just keeping at it even when i mess up my diet i get right back on it. well- good luck! oh- and i eat a lot more veggetables now also...

Courtney what did you do to lose the 30 pounds? And this is what you should do to lose 15 more pounds: eat what you want just small portions and exercise 30 minutes everyday do something with your legs if you wnat to lose that fat there walk, run, bike, etc. and do 20 squats or lunges.

Well i ate all three meals and got lik 9 to 10 hours a sleep becuz it fastens ur metabolism by 40 precent got out of the house and did sumitin everyday.. stayed away for fast food and resturants and exercised alot....

hey yall wuts crackalackin? I'm just tryin to tell ya, that no matter what diet you are on, it is easier to stay on it if you plan your meals ahead of time. I dont really know about planing your activities time, cause i know that i irritate myself when i do that and i dont stick to it, but when you plan your meals, ya have to eat and then you know exactly what you should eat, and how much of it you need to fill you up. talk to ya later-peace out
