I'm not overweight but I'm worried about becoming overweight. My family always goes out to eat fast food about THREE times a week. When we go to lets say McDonalds I'll tell my parents I don't want anything to eat because I already ate a sandwich at home. (I don't lie) But then my parents make me eat and I hate it. I don't want to be fat. Fast food is so bad for you. Do you guys have any tips to eat healthier? Also does anyone know of an exercise video that works?

Today: 130 lb, Goal: 110 lb - i am 14 years old and i wiegh like 130 i know its not alot but my older 16 year old sieter wieght 110 i play a lot of softball and i eat breakfats and dinner and i have a small lunch(cookie) i snack wen i get home do you know any more ideas i can do to get me to loose about 10 20 pounds? e-mail me at analisa333@hotmail.com

all i can think of right off the bat is to try n0t to snack. ive noticed that if i dont snack anytime during the day for a few days my weight drops or stays the same. it really helps! believe me! and if u really r hungry, EAT! just eat an apple or a few pretzels! well hope i helped even if i helped just a little bit!good luck!

Ht. 4'11", Today: 180 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - Hey! I'm 13 years old( 14 in August), i'm 4'11 and weigh 180 pounds. I really want to loose some weight. The school I go to requires you to pack lunch, although we have a school store with junk food. hot pocket, chips, soda, candy, just your basic junk food. my friends are always offering me those fatting foods, and I always take them. I've tried working out and eating healthy, it just doesn't work. and my family loves to eat fatty foods and go out to eat alot so that doesn't help me much. I've been taking dance class since I was 2, that and gym is the only excersie I get. I don't play sports because I get tired out fast. What should I do, I need Help! Thanks. Hey Girl! I'm in the same situation as you are. My family goes out to eat a lot too. When I go I only get a drink and eat a sandwich at home. I know this is SUPER hard but I try REALLY hard and I only eat out about 2 times a month. Also if you are going somewhere where sell a hamburger or sandwich with a side like french fries only eat the hamburger or sandwich and give your french fries to someone else in your family. Hi, I know i don't way that much but the way i'm going im gonna be overweight soon. The thing that i need help on is cutting down on the snacking, as soon as i come home from school i eat ice cream, and chips, and pretzels, and all this junkfood. Does anyone know a way to cut down on my afternoon junk-food snack cravings?

what do you eat for lunch? Try to eat more protein because it takes longer for protein to be digested so you feel fuller longer. If you're hungry when you come home then eat a piece of fruit and yoghurt. I usually have an apple and peanut better because it makes me feel fuller (the protein in the pb) and the apple satisfies my sweet tooth.

Healthy foods for taylor... try to really cut down on pop, chips, etc. fruit is better than juice. eat fruit for a snack too. for breakfast eat fruit, non-sugar cereal, or toast with jam. try not to add anything you know isn't good for you. like try not to use any mayo, and use less butter on your bread. you know what's healthy for you, so just try to substitute healthier foods for unhealth ones. if you have any specific questions relply/post a message.

Hi Taylor and Michelle! What i did was i stopped my sugar intake completely, no soda and maybe once in a while i ate a starburst or something because theyre my favorite but absolutely no chocolate. I did a lot of random things, first i ate only subway for like a month(no cheese or mayo) and i lost about 10 pounds. and then i just dont eat as much as i used to. I eat fruit for breakfast, a salad for lunch and maybe if im hungry then a sandwhich for dinner. I also drink a ton of water everyday and i think thats what helped me the most because for a while i stopped drinkin water and my weight didnt drop as fast. I also dont eat any junk food. I only eat when im hungry and i eat sensibly. I hope that helps, bye!

I was wondering, now i play soccer and run aroun alot, sso, if i have 1-2 games a week and i exercise 2-3 times between games, will that be enough exercise to help me lose weight???

thats good going, but you still need to eat healthy too. maybe just cut back on the junk food like chips, cookies, candy and other things, and replace them with fruit! that should help you lose weight

for breakfastyou can eat 3/4 cup high fiber cereal, with half a banana, 1 tbls. nuts, and 2/3 cup fat free milk! or 4 egg whites scrambled, with fat free cheese and veggies! for lunch you can have a big salad with fat-free dressing! or a sandwich with whole wheat bread, lettuce, turkey or ham,tamotoe, and fat free cheese. for dinner you can have steamed veggies and white meat chicken or a big salad! and for desert some fruit like 1/2 a papaya or mango with an orange! hope this helps you! it helped me lose 20 pounds!

how many pops do you drink on an average day? one or less is ok. try to avoid it though. excessive sugar can stop the weight-loss process because you have sugar to burn instead of fat. Try to skip the pop. try anything sugar free. for breakfast, try the sugarfree jello (10 calories a container) and fruit. natural sugar is normal to get (like in fruit) but not too much. try to find a happy medium. I use "Windsor Pilates" its a set of exercize wideos. Only 5 days a week for 20 min a day, I did it for a month or so, and dropped about ten pounds. that should be a start. Good Luck. Please dont torture yourself though. You can find "safe foods" just look at the label. Sodium should be under 20% and in the contents if "fructose" or "sugar" is in the top 5 ingredients (ones listed first) it is high in sugar.

I'm not really overweight, but I do have a problem. I don't need alot of food to keep up my energy and stuff. I could eat a 2 egg omelette with 2 pieces of toast and about 1/2 cup of apple sauce as all my food for the whole day! Lots of people only eat that for breakfast. It is so hard not to eat more than I need when I am with other people who need more food and eat more. Does anyone have any tips? I probably will become overweight very soon if I can't stop eating more than I need.

I know how you feel I cant eat all that much but some people I know what they eat in one meal is like my whole days food! Anyway, you should eat low calorie foods which will fill you up heaps. Like eat heaps of salads with a nice low cal dressing cause veggies are basically water and fibre and they fill you up but have like hardly any calories. Also drink water to curb the cravings and chew sugar free gum. Also i find it helpful if i keep a packet of sugar free mints on hand. it feels like im eating something but im not really and they have no calories. hope this has helped you!

Hey, un know how people are always saying "drink lots of water to curve your cravings" Well, instead of water, i have tea. To me, it's better than plain water and they have zero calories. It really does work. I'm just tryin to get down so i can wear a bikini and wear everything else i want to!!
