you can't spot reduce so you'll just have to diet and exersize and reduce your overall fat percentage.

hey ya'll! i need some help here.... i really want to get rid of my "flabby" stomach. is it even possible to spot reduce? i am usually very active, but i recently broke my collar bone and so i can't do anything too physical at moment which is really difficult for me. before my collar bone was broken i had v-ball practice everyday, soccer practice 3 times a week for 2 hours each time, and i ran for 30-45 min. on my off days. although i did all that, i still wasn't loosing any of my flabby stomach. i don't think my eating habits are too off... i have a cookie here and there... and i don't drink any soda at all. if you guys have any idea how to help me that'd be really awesome! my email is kaboint424@msn.com thanks! katy~

no- you can't spot reduce- you need to lose overall fat on your body to get at one part. sorry! i wish you could though- it'd definately be easier. oh well. i'm sorry to hear you broke your collar bone but what you can do right now is concentrate on an extremely healthy diet untill you can put exersizing back into your plan. go to www.caloriesperhour.com to find out how many al.s you burn in 24 hours and then eat less then that and you'll lose weight...

BMI Ranges: What they mean Experts generally consider a BMI below 20 to be underweight and a BMI of 20 to 25 to be healthy. BMIs of 25 to 30 are generally considered overweight while a BMI over 30 is generally considered very overweight (obese). found this on a website just type bmi into search and it gives u hundreds of websites

if you're truely doing what you said you are- then it is working no doubt about it- look, losing weight isn't some huge secret someone's keeping- it just takes time to see that it's actually working. and also- eat healthy but not too much of the healthy stuff becasue too many cal.s will just make you gain weight.

if you just take things one step at a time they really add up after a while. remember it's not a 1 day thing though. if you just get up and exersize in the morning then you'll feel better becasue not only does it help your body, but you'll feel relieved that it's over for the day at least. and then just do moinor tweaks to your diet- such as only drink water if you're going to drink something- or at least diet whatever...

Hey guys!! Well.. My diet has kinda been shakey the past couple of days, cause i've been to a party and Kennywood for my band trip!BUT ANWAYS!!! I have really decided... that i really cant live like this! I mean.. Its just the way ppl are seeing me now.. ok i dont know if you guys can understand this.. lol Sometimes im a little unclear.. lol When i gained all my weight it was soo much weight.. SO FAST!! (and it was all thanks to a boy..**HATE BOYS!! lol jk GUYS** lol I think the only reason he liked me for that short period of time was because i wasnt fat... but then when i started gaining weight.. he didnt like me anymore.. And when i went to Kennywood today, i was fed up to my forhead with him!!! He was constently making fun of me.. for like stupid things(not my weight) ANYWAY GETTING ON WITH THIS POST!!! lol I realised that he and just about everyother person in my school... only have respect for the .. skinny .. non over weight people.. and that really upsets me.. So im gonna chainge.. IM GONNA BECOME SKINNY, and slowly GAIN RESPECT FOR ALL MY OVER WEIGHT FRIENDSIN SCHOOL!! its not fair or NICE that they do that, so im gonna help them out!! you don't have to be skinny, you should be healthy. You want them to respect you because you take care of your body, not because you're some stick-insect. Take care of your body, feed it really healthy foods and exercise, and it'll take care of you. (okay, that sounds a bit weird, but go with it :) )

there's tons of reasons why you put on 1 lb. Maybe you drank a lot of water. Just because you put on a lb does not mean you're doomed to be fat forever, you could just be bloated, there's tons of reasons.

That wrist test does not work for figuring out your frame size, when I was over weight the test said I had a large frame but since I lost weight my wrists are smaller and are now a medium. Over weight people usually have larger wrists too so if you lose weight your wrists won't be as large. Plus your test doesn't factor in finger length I actually have fairly wide wrists but also SUPER LONG fingers so your test doesn't work at all.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 130 lb, Today: 180 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 160 lb - Hey everyone I have a lot to get off my chest so please bear with me for a minute. I started having problems two years ago. I am 5'4" and was 130 then, so I was happy. Last year I grew up to 150 mainly because I ate too much crap and didn't exercise. Getting bigger wasn't fun, but I guess I was a little too busy to notice and it was only 20 pounds. I could tell i was hefty but 150 is not super fat. Now this year I am just around 170 and still 5'4 which is no fun now i really am fat. i try to stop it but i have bad habits and am just lazy i dont do much during the summer. i already gained 5 pounds since school ended and i dread having to go back there and i will probably be close to 180. i never used to have a big belly like this before either and it bothers me the way it sticks out and rolls over etc. i dont really mind my butt and thighs arms etc. all that much they look kinda good with some shape but i would like to try and get to like 160 and hold it and smaller tummy please help me out

try changing one bad habit at a time- like instead of coke drink water for however long till you're used to it.Then change another small bad habit and so on... i know it'll take a while but those chnges will last for a long time afterwards and besides, it took a long time to put on the weight right? so it'll probably take a while to take it off for good also.

Last weekend I went to my cousins wedding and I just saw the photos and I look so FAT. I hate how I look it is my legs and tummy mostly. my tummy is realy fat and has big rolls. I didnt know i look so fat and I hate myself. my trousers are too tight round the top of my legs and round my tummy. I want to stop eating but I dont know how to so my parents dont know. Don't starve yourself! You can't lose weight quickly and safely, the safest way is 2-3 lbs. a week.

Actually, it isn't impossible to lose 30lbs in about 3 months. You just have to eat healthy, about 1500 calories a day. It really isn't that hard to stop eating junkfood. It's a good idea to lower your intake of junkfood slowly, you'll hardly notice the difference. Pick one day when you can eat something you like, for example ice cream, but don't eat too much of it. And you have to exercise, atleast 30 minutes a day, the best would be about an hour a day. You should do the exercises that you like, like riding your bike, take a walk or maybe swimming. Don't weight yourself everyday, since your weight changes from day to day, about once a week is enough. If you just exercise and eat healthy you're gonna reach your goals.
