I don't know if this works but I heard once that if you tell yourself everyday that you can lose weight and you are not going to give up while looking in the mirror it helps build your self-confidence so you wont feel you need to give up. It sounds weird I know. Like I said - I don't know if it works or not - but it couldn't hurt. Good Luck!!!!

i know ur pain !! dont call urself a fat ugly pig though that isnt goin to help ur self of steem ! and everyone has feelings and juss dont let those mean people who call u fat or ugly get to u !!! i did and it got me no where !!! be yourself and become beautiful by working out ... it doesnt have to be a lot but walk around your neighborhood like once or twice i used to weigh like 160 and i started walkin and i am now like 145 - 150 ! people say i am fat but i dont let it get me down i juss go do some work out videos or something ! and when u are feeling down and depressed dont eat for comfort do something else ! i always hug my teddy bear even though i am 13 i dont care what people think u shouldnt either juss be happy with what you are and if you not then make it better !! sorry i wrote a lot !

I just want to encourage you all, and to help you gain a little perspective! It makes my heart hurt to see girls my age and younger consumed in misery over their outside, and feeling worthless because of it. By all means, lose weight! Be healthy! But love your body, and take good care of it. Don't let losing weight become your whole life, only let it be a small part. Take joy in your hobbies, do things that you love to do. Heck, take up a new one! I love vollyball, acting, and painting. And I love old movie stars and the 50's! redecorate your room. Let how you dress and act reflect your personal style. The more amazingly interesting you become, the more people want to know you and are attracted to you. It's the truth, I promise, but do it for YOU! I promise that people care about you, never insult yourself by underestimating your worth. You are worth more than the moon and stars!

hi there if i was you i would be proud of who i am one of my close friends is big and she is always putting herself down and that only makes things worse. i mean i understand how she feels she is always getting laughed at and the advice i would give you is to stand strong and be who you are dont worry about what people say as long as you and your mates stick together you will be fine and also if you do feel really sad i would talk to some one which i can trust such as your mum and dad to exspress you feeling that usally makes you feel better.

hey...i used to think guys wouldnt go out with me cause my weight....till i started askin around....they really did like me even with all this weight....sometimes if you think its cause the way you look, it gets stuck in your mind and thats all you ever think about...maybe someone likes you but u have to be more confindnt in yourself to find out...

your right some people do judge and look at the outside! But not all! im popular at my school but not becouse im pretty or good at sports but becouse im nice and i help others with problems thats why im not very pretty or good at sports but i look at everyone the same i hange out with popular people and the kids that are not in the cool group im working on trying to get the cool kids to see how cool the other kids are so what im trying to say dont worry about what you look like worry about how you are with people and be sure to be caring!

Don't give up your trying.A tip i could possibly give you is trying a weight loss program. I worked WONDERS for me. ITs really build your self esteem when you loose weight. Exercise and eat healthy and you'll don fine!

hey reggie,
as we all know we must exercise everyday at least 20 minutes so our body could release toxins that are not good for us and elle woods was right when she said that exercise releases endorphins that makes us happy so while we are all in our exercise and diet routine we all feel less stressed so we dont worry bout those people who tells us we are fat we just know the fact that we are losing weight and no body can stop us to reach our goal and do our best!!!

This is totally true, guys. For years I was about the same BMI but always felt horrible about myself, and lived in fear that someone would ask my weight or something. Sure enough, recently I've stopped worrying, and learned to accept myself for who I am, while eating slightly smaller portions. I've lost 2 inches and 10 pounds this way.
