try drinking flavored water it helps a lot. Also just tell yourself, do I really want this, am I really hungry? Also try brushing your teeth, it kinda makes you not want to eat that much.

Ht. 5"9, Wt. 377 - Hi guys. First post. iv recently decided to loose weight.My dad introduced me to this site last night because hes really been trying to help me loose weight. Well i guess im overweight thats why im here and i would like somebody to talk to about it. My dad keeps telling me that i should get more active but its really tough for me because of my weight. Does any other girl on here have big thighs like me. Its really tough to walk very far and i loose breath easily and if there is a way to meby work on those first I would like to. Its not true. you really can lose weight, but you really have to be ready to do it. I'm sure you've tried dieting before and it didn't work. It's a major lifestyle change and it won't be easy. I suggest getting help from a dietician or a psycologist. You have to figure out why you overeat. No diet will work because your problem isn't what you eat but that you're out of control with food. If you're like me you proboboly eat when you're still full and you like to eat a lot when no one is watching you. Hi, I'm Matt, 14 on Sunday 13th March, and, over the past few years since my parents divorce, and with intense bulling in school, I have piled on weight gradually. I currently weigh in at 15stone 3lbs.I have started to take action today, with the aid of my friends, "A Diet Diary" where I write my thoughts and food intake, oh and of course, a pocket sized book that shows ALL FOOd and calorie levels.I'm eating a calorie controled diet, where I vow not to eat over 600kcals a day, and today, after several apples and water, I have little to no hunger!Is this it? Am I losing weight?Hmmm... I wonder. Can't wait to weigh.But at 12am last night, had mad 200kcal binge on milk. Eeek. But, have around 100 calorie points left for today. I feel so down now. Yesterday i binged on just about everything that i could get my hands on and i couldn't stop, It was really bad, I knew that I was conciouslly binging but I COULDN'T stop. I know that i was upset over something a stupid guy said in gym and that was why i was binging. I need help. How can i sort of my emotional stuff and not go to food. Seriously i know i have felt my feelings before and i don't wanna feel them again. I've been depressed before ( even though i wasn't diagnosed, when u think about sucide for almost a whole week, then your pretty sure that ur depressed after you come out of it and relise how stupid u were even to think that crap) anyways that was two years ago, but i deffiantly don't wanna go back there. I just don't know wut i should do to raise my confidence and self respect. I really wanna join or sport team or so sumtime of after school sctivity. Maybe that while allow me to be myself and make friends and such, but i its a longshot. I donno why I'm just going on like this. I just geuss that it reminded me of the oringinal reason of wanting to loose weight was after that bout of depression and well I don't want to go through that again to get a kick start into loosing weight. If ya know wut i mean. I was doing so good, especially since i had just fineshed JAy McGraw's book while i was home sick and I was following the steps that identified everything (like emotional eating)I just don't know wut i did wrong. Ht. 6'4", Today: 300 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 200 lb - Hi, I have a major problem. I'm overweight, 300 pounds, and I'm 6ft 4 inches tall. I'm bigger than everybody in class, including the teachers, priciple, everybody! I get teased alot, and would like to lose 80 to 100 pounds. Even my older sisters friends who are like 23,24, 25 years old come over to the house, and they act scared of me, cuz they are so small, and they are like....Oh my god....please don't crush me. I dont think I over eat, so i don't know why I'm so overweit. Help!

Hi my name is Marshall and I just wanted to give you some advice. It sounds like you are an emotional eater try to eat when you are only truly hungry and don't eat past 9:00 p.m. My dad gave me a diet that is working pretty well it is: have a healthy breakfast like aa piece of fruit or small bowl of cereal and for luch eat whatever you want just not to much then eat a light dinner like soup or salad. Exercise at least 5 days a week for 20-30 minutes. You should go for like a 20 minute walk or bike ride or something then do 20 crunches for your abs then do 20 push-ups for your chest and arms then do 20 squats or lunges for your legs and butt. And most girls think that if they exercise they will get too muscular like a guy but you won't because girlsare built differently then guys so you won't get to muscular. kerry i'm really worried about you! I'm with Tricia with the asking if you are really hungry before you eat. More than likely you are eating for comfort or ur depressed. Trust me i kno how that is! I think u should start keeping a diary to sort through ur feelings instead of eating through them. Talk to your family, too! tell them how you feel. O and i haven't had a b/f either, and i kno how u feel because i feel so lonely without having one and then seeing most of the other girls with their b/f at skewl. don't worry though. how i look at it is, if they're so shallow just to look on the outside and not see who i am on the inside then they aren't worth me anyways! i wish u the best of luck, and i hope that u can get to your goals, chellie
