try drinking flavored water it helps a lot. Also just tell yourself, do I really want this, am I really hungry? Also try brushing your teeth, it kinda makes you not want to eat that much.

Its not true. you really can lose weight, but you really have to be ready to do it. I'm sure you've tried dieting before and it didn't work. It's a major lifestyle change and it won't be easy. I suggest getting help from a dietician or a psycologist. You have to figure out why you overeat. No diet will work because your problem isn't what you eat but that you're out of control with food. If you're like me you proboboly eat when you're still full and you like to eat a lot when no one is watching you. I strongly suggest you talk to a professional, but if you want some tips, try writing down everytime you eat and if you think you ate more then everyone else. You have to realise and admit you overeat. Watch your skinny friends eat and you'll see the they actually enjoy the food and stop when they're full. Hi, I'm Matt, 14 on Sunday 13th March, and, over the past few years since my parents divorce, and with intense bulling in school, I have piled on weight gradually. I currently weigh in at 15stone 3lbs.I have started to take action today, with the aid of my friends, "A Diet Diary" where I write my thoughts and food intake, oh and of course, a pocket sized book that shows ALL FOOd and calorie levels.I'm eating a calorie controled diet, where I vow not to eat over 600kcals a day, and today, after several apples and water, I have little to no hunger!Is this it? Am I losing weight?Hmmm... I wonder. Can't wait to weigh.But at 12am last night, had mad 200kcal binge on milk. Eeek. But, have around 100 calorie points left for today. Only a few more hours.I hate exercise. But I think I could get into it easy enough.Help me, pleaseThanksMatt  (Note: 1 stone (st) equals 14 pounds.)

hey trev... anne 16 has been really helping ppl here but shes not coming here no more so guess i will try(but i cant help no wehre as good as anne),. anyways, heres wat u gotta do trevor. . i was like 190lbs when i first came here(im short 5ft 3in) , im 163 lbs now)... u gotta realize that u r hooked on food... u eat when u not really hungry but cuz food makes u feel happier an u dont stop til u r like stuffed which is unomfortable so u stop then... so to lose weight u gotta like substitute other things to make u happy, like walkin w/ ur dog, do a hobby(i build computers from old parts), roller bladin, dancing(i take swing lessons at ymca), helpin ppl(i volunteer takin meals to old ppl on saturdays - they really apreciate it), sports(yah i know thats hard but when u get lighter)... an u can eat like sugar-free fat-free stuff... ask ur rents to buy fruit for snacks(apples, pears,... Hi my name is Marshall and I just wanted to give you some advice. It sounds like you are an emotional eater try to eat when you are only truly hungry and don't eat past 9:00 p.m. My dad gave me a diet that is working pretty well it is: have a healthy breakfast like aa piece of fruit or small bowl of cereal and for luch eat whatever you want just not to much then eat a light dinner like soup or salad. Exercise at least 5 days a week for 20-30 minutes. You should go for like a 20 minute walk or bike ride or something then do 20 crunches for your abs then do 20 push-ups for your chest and arms then do 20 squats or lunges for your legs and butt. And most girls think that if they exercise they will get too muscular like a guy but you won't because girlsare built differently then guys so you won't get to muscular. kerry i'm really worried about you! I'm with Tricia with the asking if you are really hungry before you eat. More than likely you are eating for comfort or ur depressed. Trust me i kno how that is! I think u should start keeping a diary to sort through ur feelings instead of eating through them. Talk to your family, too! tell them how you feel. O and i haven't had a b/f either, and i kno how u feel because i feel so lonely without having one and then seeing most of the other girls with their b/f at skewl. don't worry though. how i look at it is, if they're so shallow just to look on the outside and not see who i am on the inside then they aren't worth me anyways! i wish u the best of luck, and i hope that u can get to your goals,

umm... i think its called emotional eating, like when u grab food for comfort cuz u feel depressed or sad or bored or nervous. i read that instead u can do sumthing to make urself feel better like talking w/ ur mates or go for a walk w/ ur dog or talking w/ a counseler bout ur probs or reading a book, or roller bladin ,,, stuff like that, so it keeps u from eatin. hope this helps.

i write down my probs in my notebook and under each prob i write a plan wat im gonna do about it. like... 1) this jerk at school calls me names in front of my mates, so my plan i wrote is to smile at him and dont pay it no mind, 2) i suck at math,so my plan is to get a tutor. 3) i suck at cricket ball in pe so my plan is to pratice every weekend with my dad. so.. thems r my plans... and if i want to grab a bag of chips cuz im stressin, i go shoot hoops or to outback on my bike w/ my dog. keep urself busy. hope this helps.
