I just was looking at my photo album one day and I saw how skinny I was in 2nd grade but now I look like a cow and everything is going wrong because of it. My boyfriend broke up with me and I cant find another date I am always made fun of by my closest friends I hate myself sometimes I sit in my room on my bed in a ball and say I WISH I WERE DEAD over and over again hope'n that it will really happen. I weight areound 150lbs and I eat when I am sad and when I am bored and its hard to stay on diets!

hey it is the same way with me ! but u know u shouldnt watch that much TV because u know all the steriotypes about u r only pretty if u r skinny which just so happens is NOT true. If u want to keep ur self from being sad or sumthin do a workout ypou enjoy or take a yoga or dance class if u want! but yes the best thing to do is exercise when u r sad because exercising makes u happy it is proven! good luck!

everyone is saying not to buy diet pills, but what about things like green tea packets for weight loss and little other "slim downs" they sell? I would never buy anything with endperhra or w/e its called, see my problem is I haev an emotionl addiction to food for a serisous reason I can not put on this website, I have tried eathing healthy and exercsing but I just do not have the will power and stregnth from my past tradagey to do this. I really need diet pills or some kind of "scam" to give me the motoviation and keep me on track, please reply soon, I am leaving at 7 tonight to buy something

hey listen girl forget about the pills,forget all the crap you see on tv,all those weight loss supplaments and fake success stories,the only one who could bring out the inner you,well is you.if you want to lose weight you haft to make your will stronger resist all those freakin fatty foods,soda,crap like that, i did i used to be just like you ,i used to eat alot when i was sad or depressd by the end of that year i weighed 330 pounds there and then i decided it was time for change,it was really hard on me the first 12 weeks,but after that my weight loss took off like a rocket and since last year i've loss over 120 pounds,now i feel better than ever all you haft to do is belive in yourself if you want to talk wit me or want any tips e-mail me at ricansorrow@yahoo.com

i have a BIG problem(no pun intended) i cant stop eating! even when im not hungry i just eat! PLEASE HELP ME! i actually am not really hungry most of the day i just eat.one time i decided 'thats it' but my family and friends asked if i was going to starve myself. i was like'im just not hungry' but they didnt belive me, especially at restaurants or lunch at school. i seriously wasnt hungry but ive fallen back to my old ways! do any of u have suggestions? i know u dont like always replying to everyone but IT WOULD REALLY HELP!!!

What I do is I think about every single food I eat, that I know isnt healthy, as being actul fat on my body. For example, eating a cookie, i see that cookie as a chunk of fat that size and thickness added right to my thighs, no digestion, no eating, ntohing of that sort. Its confsuing but I hope you understand what Im talking about. Other things to try is think about how you will feel after eating, wont you feel better about yourself if you drink a glass of water instead? HI My parents were gone out of town so there was no one to stop me i went on an eating spree. I polished off 4 bags of family size potato chips, 3 burgers 2 orders of fries and 5 packets of jello pudding. And that was on the first day. My parents were gone for 2 weeks! when your home and bored with nothing to do DONT i repeat DONT go grazing through the fridge or pantry to eat something.... eating more and more isnt going to help your situation!! ik u said eating makes you happy...... but you have to start eating good foods like fruits veggies and good grain cereals and salad for dinner instead of steak n mashed potatoes. its mostly a mental thing if you dont like the way things are going you have to work hard to tell yourself "i dont need this food" when you're not hungry..... i tell myself that a lot cause when im bored i go to eat n im like WAIT STOP dont eat!!.... also (my friend did this) tape a picture of a supermodel to your pantry door so every time you go in there you'll see this perfect girl and say i wana look like her! haha i tried it and it actually worked for me and i walked away from the pantry ok well im sorry if i wasnt any help for you but i hope i was! my email is sweetann10@cox.net

Hey babe Well, wot I find useful is when you are hungry to ask urself Am I really hungry? or just bored/depressed/thirsty. If u think u r hungry try drinking instead (water is best) or smoothies without too much yoghurt. If u think you are just bored then do something and it will take your mind off food. Hope I helped. I'm not quite sure what to do. I was looking up diets on the internet and came across a site about eating disorders. For some reason I decided to look. Ray ray, almost all people who are overweight have this disorder, that is why they are overweight. Its just that society hasnt recognisied it yet, and wont because they still believe that people are fat because they are weak willed etc. It simply means that you use food to comfort yourself, and I do it too. This is what you have to look at to really solve why you are overweight. Maybe you could talk to your parents or someone about it. Maybe they can help you.

My name is Isabella but what little friends i have call me Bella. Ht. 5'9", Today: 193 lb (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 160 lb - from my other post: im 5'9 193 pounds i want to be at least 160. I cant stay on a diet! Do you think its to hard to try to lose 2 lb a week? I really want to just lose 2lb a week until i reach like 160, 170 cause i really need to lose it, then lose 1lb. I seriously cant stay on diets. Why is it so hard? its hard because we find comfort in foods, and it becomes habit to reach for the fridge everytime you have a ba day or just hungry or something. if you live by yourself or with someone else, empty your house of stuff thats not in your diet and stock it with stuff that is. that way the temptation is less. goodluck.

Hey i really want to lose weight. I don't know how to start off my diet! Ive been really depressed lately and have been just comfort eating. I can't stand the way I look so i just go eat more and to top things off my friend lied to me and just went off and ditched me for some guy, PLUS the guy i like pretty much wont talk to me cuz i said some guy was cute! What kinds of things make you happy? Besides eating. Whatever it is (skate boarding, listeing to music, dancing, haning with friends, whatever...) try replacing your eating binges with your activities. Try having fun. HELP! I keep trying to lose weight and every time I fail. I don't know what to do. I have a major eating problem. I eat when I'm excited, happy, scared, depressed, and well, bored. I need some advice on how to keep away from food, cuz otherwise, I'll be 300 lbs, by the time I turn 14.

Shaz is right, everytime you feel like you need to eat, ask yourself if you really are hungry. If your not, do something else, like go for a walk, do yoga, something to take up time. But remember, NEVER starve yourself or make yourself throw up. This is a long process, and I hope you will eventually start an exercise program or join a sport for your own physical well being.
