Hey,thanx james for telling me all that stuff, appreciate it. hav u got a chart or sumthing? thanx anyway. and if uip sees this plz reply.the reason im msg is : to recommend KICKBOXING!!! im seriously hooked, kickboxing is badass!!!ive only had 4 classes. it teaches you strength speed, is a great workout and you learn self defence. when i finish my class im on such a high, really confident. and thats what counts right? its ok slogging it at da gym, doing weights or set or even worst da STATIONERY BIKE (personally pet hate there lol) but if you odnt enjoy it then whats the point? you end up getting bored and giving after a few weeks anyway!! so my advice is to literally go and find a sport that u honestly enjoy (eg KICKBOXING!!) lik swimming, or badminton. mite as well do sumthng that makes you feel good right?? c ya 'round shelly x

They are like situps, except you don't go all the way down. If you don't know what sit ups are like- here is my best description of a crunch- Lie on your back with knees bent. Either cross arms over chest or put hands on your head so elbows stick out (if you do it this way, when you come up MAKE SURE YOU AREN"T PULLING YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR ARMS). Contract abdominal muscles and raise yourself so you are either at a 45 degree angle or your shoulder blades are off the floor. Return to the floor controlling the movement for best results. Going slowly gets the best results. To develop some good abs- start with 2 sets of 15 and work up to 20 or more sets of 15. Also combine with other ab movements such as leg raises or twists for obliques and lower abdominal muscles.

okay if you want to lose the weight around your hips you cant just do sit ups and crunches because those are only working one part of your body. like..what im trying to say is that you can do 1000 situps a day and it really wouldnt make a difference because you are building muscle but you cant see the muscle because there is a layer of fat covering it..soo if you want to lose weight around the stomach area then you have to do different kinds of excersises..swimming...running...sports..but you can also do sit ups and crunches..do you get what im saying?

Walk as much as you possibly can. Walking is the easiest exercise to lose weight. You can also throw in some aerobics, stretches, and strengthening exercises to help.

Sit-ups help tone the muscles in your midsection, which can help protect your back as well as improve your physique. When done wrong, however, sit-ups can be a waste of time--and possibly even harmful.

Renee- FoWalk about 15 minutes a day until you no longer feel that is challenging you physically. Then up it to 20 minutes until *that* doesn't challenge you. Continue to walk longer & faster, and when you feel like you can, add a little jogging into it (even if it's just a few steps). You'll be a world-class runner in no time. ;) -James

If you have stairs, walk up and down them constantly, do leg lifts (lie on your back and hold you legs together about 2-6 inches off the floor), sit ups, push ups, squats if you have weights, and use dumbells (handweights or a can of food you don't like) to strengthen your arms.
