Hey guys! yay i'm happy. It's raining here and so I couldn't go running, and my dad wouldn't take me to the gym, so I just decided I wasn't gonna get exercise today. But then I just went and played Dance Dance Revolution (my brother has it) and I did the workout mode and I burned 400 calories!!! And it was actually fun, unlike running on the elliptical. for all of you out there who love to dance, I TOTALLY recommend DDR!! You can dance to your heart's content and burn major calories if you do the normal level (not the beginners or workout level)

i just done 5 mins of steping up and down on a stair. ouch! im sweating like a pig! my heart is like pounding... (any1 who thinks 5 mins of stepping aint hard try it!) anywayz laterz!!!!

hey everyone. my mom bought richard simmons rockin to the oldies 3 lol but i put it on and its really fun and it is a real workout. i waited until my parents and sister were out of the house...then i popped the dvd in...and i just danced and danced and i could not stop laughing at myself. it was really fun and its good exercise. my friend wants to do it with me so that should be really fun. plus on the dvd there is a section thats success stories...and its so inspirational! theres a 12 year old that lost 30 pounds, and a 27 year old who lost 180 pounds! all from adding that extra exercise in their day. anyways...my point is...find an exercise that you like and thats fun! i am excited to dance again today lol! but for some reason i dont like doing it with my mom or dad in the house. theyd probably think im crazy cause i can't stop laughing while i'm doing it. and after you do it....you... Hey Everybody. This morning I did my advance Tae-Bo tape it was awesome. You really feel good after you do it. It is an hour of intense cardio, that is awesome. I recommend it to anyone who likes doing cardio. School starts next Monday for me so I am working really hard. Good Luck to everyone. If you are going to do Tae-bo start off with the easier tapes at first, don't go to advance right away because it kicks your ass. Good Luck :)

Hey guys its me and im really excited because today i finally figured out a way to exercise at my work. Usually i just sit at my desk all day while my co worker takes breaks and stuff but today i got a brillant idea. See the stairs that lead into the lobby of our floor are great for going down but u cant go back up cause it locks you out. So today i went down the stairs to the lobby which is about 50 steps..then i waited in the lobby still bouncing or stepping side to side for an elevator to take me back up to the 3rd floor. Once the door was shut (if i was alone which was most of the times i went up) i do leg lifts or step side to side or a move that i learned while dancing in the musical which swings your legs out to your side. Then i professionally walk across the lobby and go down the stairs again! I did this about i dont 10 times from 10:40 to the top of the hour. Sometimes i even... My best friend bought a hula hoop...you know one of those heavy bamboo ones? Well, she used it for half an hour to an hour everyday for a week and she lost 5lbs! I'm going to get one tomorrow! But it just doesn't make sense to me...how can hula hooping make someone lose so much weight? She didn't diet or do any other exercises, either! I doubt it's water weight, because she does look thinner. Have any of you had good experiences with the hula hoop? Oh...and this is how I did today: Breakfast: whole wheat bread, 2 nectarines Snack: oatmeal Lunch: sushi Snack: Pinacolada drink Dinner roasted chicken, veggies. Exercise: 200 jumping jacks, 50 crunches and still doing more tonight! ~~MissyK~~

Maybe try some sit-ups? I find they are really helpful. Do as many as you can every night, and every morning. Right now, I do 35 sit-ups three times a day. You might not be able to do that many at first, so don't worry. I started out doing 10 sit-ups twice a day. I think I've come a long way!

- Try not to eat anything before bedtime. - Don't eat out too often, and go to Subway more then McDonald's, or A&W - I've heard that counting calories works really well. - The heathiest sport of supposed to be SWIMMING because it exercises every part of your body. Try swimming with your friends. - Take up something new. One of my favorite sports is canoeing, try that. Or maybe take up tennis or something. - Exercise with a friend. It makes it funner and more enjoyable. - Help your Mom around the house. It burns calories! Weed the lawn, my favorite chore, Vacume, dust, mow the lawn, walk your dog. okay one way im losing weight is dancing any type of dancing helps me i do all kinds.hip-hop- jazz-- booty dance-country- anything to get you moving. even if you make up your own just put on the radio in your room for an 30 mins to an hour and dance around- have fun .and the other tip is the game dance dance revolution if you play that game everyday for 30 mins to one hour you can lose over 30 pounds in 90 days.im not lying i dance everyday and im losing weight because it makes you moves around and just your heart is constanly racing and your body is just working everything it's a fun way to lose weight. this is just some tips if you like to dance.-mickey

Buy and eye toy for Playstation 2. I lost 3 pounds just from that:) And I've only had it 3 days! I know you probably think I'm crazy, it's a video game, but it doesn't have controllers. You actually have to move to play. And it's fun!
